Butte High QB

I just always found Cook's comments in DL about playing in the NFL hilarious. All of us looked him up immediately and never found anything, even back then.

yes...now your on to something!!! egriz is the almighty last word on recruiting too!!! man nwfresh, i guess your the reason every cat player signes with MSU, all because of your posts on BN!!! go pat yourself on the back some more. bottom line, noone trashed the "kid"! PERIOD! some are trashing his dad, and even i joined in a little because i don't think anyone addmitting to callin an opposing coach out to a fight is "helping" his son. not in this world of college athletics anyway. never-the-less, now that you explained the recruiting process to me, IF dallas cook signs with MSU, all of Cat Nation will have northwest fresh to thank.

I'm only saying that blasting a poster who claims to be a potential recruit's dad isn't going to help recruit that player. :thumb:

And you are really worried about the Griz losing a recruit? That is the crock of shiite right there.

It seems like Griz staff may want to offer a scholarship as soon as possible. I hope someone is watching his games and building a relationship with him. The kid may turn out to be a terrific player; one of the best in MT history.

I'm watching...

Should be another good game for Dallas Cook tonight, hec, it's only Capital coming to town.

Good thing the head coach at Butte High is a former Bobcat, Arie Grey. He will know the right direction to point him. EAST

Good thing ALL the BHS standouts go to UM and will point Dallas in the right direction. :egriz:

Oh & to the comments made about Klaboe complaining about the fans or a fight or whatever B.S. that was. I was at that game, West got their ass kicked & the coaches couldn't handle it... simple as that. It's called home field advantage. I could be wrong about this but don't the Griz & Cats use it at every home game!? We are on top of you & we are loud. We want you to hear us. Come to Butte for a game, we'll treat ya real good.

I still can't believe they re-did Naranche. That hill sucked to have to run up and down.....nice to hear it has become a great home field advantage. Where to people park???

Putter, so you remember the "Winners Club" from when we practiced there do ya? (running the hill everyday after practice)

The nicely renovated Naranache Stadium, on BHS campus, has become a really nice homefield advantage. The stands are right on top of the sidelines/field. Amazing close. :thumb: We would have loved playing there...

Bozeman players commented the week of their recent game here that the Butte crowd is loud/rowdy. So we have a little bit of a loud reputation. You well know how Butte loves it's football (sports in general).

Times may be turning around to where BHS football was in the late 80's when we played, for state championships and great crowds :!:

Butte is ranked #2 in the state at 6-1.

CMR is ranked #1 in the state at 6-1.

Butte spanked CMR I believe it was 41-20. How is Butte #2 :?:

Did they keep the gravel and broken glass playing surface or opt for grass during the remodel?

Sorry Ursa, they kept that at head park ( our nickname) across the street. Naranche only had grass for two-a-days and then a nice layer of dirt came up for those nice cool days of practice from October on.....

Loved the Hill JC.....;). At least BHS does not have ground McElroy...John was a great guy but we should have had a State Championship our junior year with Paffer and the bunch but got up 12-0 and then ran our way to a 14-12 loss.......
