Dallas is an amazing talent. One former Griz qb who watched him play stated that he reminded him of Brian Ah Yhat (when Brian was quarterbacking the Griz). Keep in mind, Dallas is only a junior in high school. Personally, I would love to see him as a Griz. From what I understand, he is a good kid and an unbelievable player. People should be careful not to judge the integrity and intentions of others until they really get to know that person. Either way, go Griz and go Dogs.
I agree 100% with Mr. Cooks response to those idiot Griz fans. If someone was talking about me or my family I would be just as pissed. I'd like to confront them as we'll. It's easy to talk & hide behind a computer. Especially when you don't have to put your name to your response. What a chick #!?$ way to respond. I have no problem with Mr. Cook's response. I would have used even less punctuation. I am from Butte & I'm a Griz fan. It amazes me how idiot Griz fans say things they have no knowledge about at all!? Oh & to the comments made about Klaboe complaining about the fans or a fight or whatever B.S. that was. I was at that game, West got their ass kicked & the coaches couldn't handle it... simple as that. It's called home field advantage. I could be wrong about this but don't the Griz & Cats use it at every home game!? We are on top of you & we are loud. We want you to hear us. Come to Butte for a game, we'll treat ya real good.

Freshgriz, not disputing anything you say, and ONE MORE TIME, this thread was started in PRAISE OF DALLAS COOK. It turned into questioning the dad's motives I guess, and maybe it shouldn't have. But bottom line is, you can say you love your son as much as you want, but to ADMIT to wanting to fight the coach of an opposing team is actually a detriment to said son if his goal is to be recruited by NCAA DI football or basketball programs. I'm sorry if fighting the opposing coach is the "Butte Way" but I doubt Chip Kelly or Lane Kiffin or anyone else Mr. Cook will be saying Dallas is looking at give a flyin' f--k that it's the "Butte Way". They just don't.

Only at egriz can a few posters make at least a 3-star QB not even consider their school because of those few tough guys puffing up their chests.
I still can't believe this place costs nothing to be a member. It's the best drama on the internet.
I'm hearing Cook is going to be a major recruit, and that even Oregon is looking at him at this point because of the Cody Carriger connection, but egrizzers, keep talking about this kid's hair.
Gawd, this place is hilarious. Mr. Scott, best of luck to your son no matter what he does with his future, and please remember that at least a few of these guys blasting you and your son will try to schmooze you should Dallas choose UM someday.

PERIOD! some are trashing his dad, and even i joined in a little because i don't think anyone addmitting to callin an opposing coach out to a fight is "helping" his son. not in this world of college athletics anyway. never-the-less, now that you explained the recruiting process to me, IF dallas cook signs with MSU, all of Cat Nation will have northwest fresh to thank. :clap:
