Bump and run

Our present pass defense is getting eaten alive. We lay off and still get beat all over the field. I can remember only two passes where a DB was even close to a receiver when the ball got there. The safeties were no where to be found either. What harm would it do to play some press pass coverage.

Also, I am not sure it would help, but it seemed to me EWU's safeties played 4 or 5 yards deeper than ours. Maybe they could give support with a deeper position.

Why do we keep doing the same thing with disastrous results? Change something.

I couldn't agree more....something needs to change. If they continue to do the same thing....they are going to continue getting the same results. Which are not good at this point!!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly expecting a different result every time. It is obvious that we aren't getting the desired outcome by doing the same old thing. I think the concept of Tripp going back to safety has merit. At least there will be someone out there that can put the fear of God into a reciever. I can just imagine some poor reciever being hung out to dry... and Tripp breaking him in half.

Gregorak doesn't trust his DB's. They are young and he is trying to protect them. The poor play by they safety's does not help either.

I'd say that's pretty accurate. Although I saw few flashes of brilliance from Dennard on Sat.....

Dennard gets beaten like a rented mule on most plays. I can help but ask, is he the best the Griz have? If so then what a huge recruiting FAIL. Yes, I know he is young but HOLY CRAP!
