BSC Mens Transfer Information 2020-21

UNC's Roy Grigsby is transferring to D2 Concordia College. Also, I meant to post this yesterday but forgot, Alonzo Sule from Texas State who many Big Sky schools were after, including the cats and the Griz, committed to James Madison.

Eags get a JUCO guy and Southland Conference player of the year. The first of what I believe will be many JUCO guys headed to Eastern.

Ronnie DeGray is in the portal from UMass. Was offered by the Griz out of hs...hope there's still interest as he'd be a great addition! https://verbalcommits.com/players/ronnie-degray-iii

He is high on my list of player pick ups that I think would really push our wing rotation. He's heard from some big schools but you never know.

EWU continues the reload, with a D1 transfer who started for NCAA tournament team UNCG, and a Juco All American. Throw that with the other 16 PPG D1 transfer they have, and they will be interesting to watch.

Damn, big week in the portal for the eags. Interested to see how all these guys mesh together cause the talent is certainly there in the three guys they've brought in so far.

UC San Diego is D1 and play in the Big West Conference.....they aren't eligible for NCAA tourney yet as they are in the transition period (have no clue when that ends) so you didn't loose a recruit to a D2....

Stupid me. I knew that. Live here in San Diego and I forgot they were making that transition.

I’m sitting in your airport as we speak, having spent a week in La Jolla. Man, I LOVE San Diego....

Spending in a week in La Jolla will restore a persons zest for living. Unfortunately, I only have an east county San Diego income. LOL.

My youngest son graduated from UCSD.....beautiful campus, beautiful setting.....

Apparently I’m not the only one with this opinion. Should be pretty obvious the Big Sky will be as competitive as it has been for a while. Trending up with a lot of good young guys in the league. SUU will leave for the WAC but not until they graduate all of those seniors and having one more quality year in the BSC. Here’s how I break it down.
Teams that got better:
NAU
UM
MSU
WSU
PSU
UNC
Teams that return almost everything but didn’t change much:
SUU
ISU
Teams that Got Worse:
EWU
Wild Cards:
SAC
UI

UNC is already being compared to last years Oral Roberts team and added one of the best JUCO players in the country, SUU returns everyone, MSU returns everyone and adds RaeQuan Battle and a strong freshman class, WSU returns everyone but Brown and adds a 15 PPG scorer from the WAC and a 9 PPG scorer from Marquette, and UM returns everyone and adds Blakney, Martin, Lopez, and Braggs with space for another. Going to be some good teams in the league, but we are set up the best down the road and still will compete next year. Have a feeling UI will remain at the bottom, ISU will slip as the rest of the league got better, and have no clue what to expect from SAC.

I’m not buying the hype on UNC. Ya they brought in a good JUCO player and still have Bodie Hume, but the loss of Sam Masten will be bigger then most realize.

Yeah...when you lose your back-up point guard, that pretty much dooms you for next season....

Dude they finished in 8th place in the conference with Body Hume, Sam Masten and Kur Jokuch all on the same team. When you have that kind of talent you should never be that bad. They may be good next year but comparing them to Oral Roberts is laughable.
