BS Championship Game vs. Red Birds Game Thread

A true tale of two halves. The 3 pt. situation turned around and the Griz crush the Eagles in the second half 53 - 25 for a dominating 17 point victory! Would have been a great game to be at in person. Congratulations Griz! Good luck in tomorrow's draw!
 
Holy Griz basketball! This team absolutely has the heart champions, they just never gave up. Nothing better than selection Sunday when your in the inside.
 
The replay of the game just popped up on the watch ESPN app... don’t need ESPNU to watch the replay, thankfully.

Congrats to you guys, great season, great tournament. Here's hoping you can get a decent seed (13 maybe? too optimistic?) and get the big sky a tourney win or 2. So impressed by Decuire. Enjoy it!

Absolutely. The key elements were there. Tonight, they shown.
 
Coach DeCuire, when asked in the post-game interview what he changed to turn things around so dramatically, he said: "Man Up." He said the coaches challenged every player to shut down their own man... and when they put Rorie on Bliznyuk, Ahmaad shut him down totally, forcing B into 6 second-half turnovers.

Hearty congrats to an incredible coaching staff and the team that believed in their coaches and themselves. I have pretty good feelings about this team's ability to compete in the NCAA tourney.

:thumb: Hoping we can get a 13 or even a 12. With Vermont and UL-L losing in their tournaments that drops UL-L out of a 12 and Vermont out of a 13. I'm not sure how some of the other games have gone. Lunardi had us as a 14 before those upsets. If I had to bet I'd bet we end up with a 13.
 
Wow - I went to UM when Michael Ray Richardson played and have watched a lot of games. Can’t remember the Griz ever playing a better half of basketball. That 2nd half was total domination.
 
Travis is the king of second half adjustments. They stretched the floor, defended the perimeter, and wore those dudes out. Even the bigs made shots outside the paint. The three ball was going and the defense was scrappier than usual. The will to win was clear to everyone.

Congrats on the AMAZING adjustment that led to a 29-point swing.
