Mods,

Please split this into two threads:

1) A thread about Brock Coyle; and
2) The "Snowflake Thread" for people who are bent out of shape about peaceful protest and freedom of expression.

Thank you.
And 3) those sick of peaceful protesters protesting a false narrative.

4) Don't forget about virtue signalling! I'm helping by posting on the internet how appalled I am, but do nothing but sit on my fat ass and bitch more!

If I am an NFL owner, it would appear to me that you are an employee of mine and If I forbid protesting on my team, you better not protest. That is my freedom of speech as an owner.

LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!

I'm good with that. I was commenting on all the Social Justice Warriors that say they are all for the NFL protests and equal rights, when all they do is post on the internet. Get off your ass and do something...much like we should be seeing the actual players doing, but don't.

What does the owner do if the whole team or half of them continue to protest?

It would seem that you are part of the reason they are conducting a peaceful protest.
Helena, see the facts posted in post 97 (liberal wa post facts supposedly supporting your position):

Again;

"Washington Post" column cited facts:

- more white human beings are killed by cops than black human beings.

- the majority violent crime is committed by black human beings.

According to those 2 "Wa Po" stats, white human beings are being unfairly targeted and "oppressed," and white human being football players should be kneeling to bring awareness to this issue.
.

If you really are concerned about an issue, figure out the underlying cause, don't just put a bandaid on the result. And for heavens sake, stop fanning the victimhood flames; in the long run, that just harms those you're trying to help.

You do realize that even though this is what started it all with CK, it has grown and is not the only reason they are currently protesting. They feel disenfranchised, they are upset that the President would not call out groups that are commonly known as racist for their actions. I am fine with people having an issue with the "Anthem protest", but to completely dismiss them because of it is wrong in my opinion. I believe there is truth to what they are protesting, and to me, if people don't see or understand that, or are unwilling to acknowledge it, then they are part of the problem. It is time more people become part of the solution.

If that were to happen, I think there are bigger problems within his/her organization.

I bet you won't see Brock Coyle disrespect the USA!
I’ll bet he respects the decisions of his teammates to protest, and probably understands the issue a lot better than most here.

That said, he had a pretty good game, and it’ll be insteresting to see if he continues to start once Foster comes back.

Didn't get to see the game. Did he get to play on D or just special teams?

He started at Mike LB and was the player relaying calls to the D.
