Brock Coyle

Bob333 said:
hahahahaha... I was megans "sidekick" for 2 and a half years. Im sure you are a great person but that doesn't change that you have made it impossible for discussions to happen around here. also continually talking about how people have never played the game is about you. once again I have nothing against you but yes you do jump down peoples throat when you don't agree with them. yes brock is a griz great. wish we still had him. but jumping all over somebody for them pointing out a mistake is over the top. players make mistakes. they are not putting him down for pointing it out. ill bet brock himself would say he made a mistake. clearly you cant handle people disagreeing with you. you might wanna avoid a message board if you cant handle people saying somebody made a mistake. ive always enjoyed reading egriz, even when alpha was here, but you have gotten so over the top I might stop coming here.

I didn't jump someone for disagreeing with me. I jumped him for unfairly dissing Coyle, in my view. I rarely jump down people's throats. You are out to lunch on most of what you are saying, in my view.

CV didn't unfairly diss anyone, he merely repeated what Jon Gruden said; we can all agree that Gruden knows what he's talking about; maybe pr could create a web page detailing his various exploits, then instead of painstakingly setting forth his credentials in every thread, he could merely refer the interested reader to his website, where those interested, if any there be, could peruse his exploits at the readers leisure; your friend, yogi

Also PR, what does giving money to the cheer squad have to do with anything being talked about. once again you are talking about how great you are and how I should respect you... so if I give money to anything does that give me the right to be fan police and tell people how they "should" act. I mean should I back down from you because you gave money to the cheer squad?

Well, you were dissing me without basis, I was pretty sure I knew who you were and had met you, and I thought I would let you know that. Assume you recall Megan going up to the box at halftime, and coming by ahead of time on occasion to sell tickets? You probably had the benefit of some of my donations. Don't think most of the squad was an unappreciative as you appear to be. I said nothing about being great or wanting your respect. In fact, based on your posts, respect from you would be meaningless. I didn't tell anyhow to post. I just told him what I thought of him, and there's a history. I hope you are not a good example of the guys on the cheer squad. Wow. Just wow.

I didn't tell anyone how to act. I merely commented on CV and his post. Like I said, there's some history there (including his incessant and needless dissing of my good friend, TG). And, do you really think your tirade was necessary for the below post? I call them as I see em sometimes. Sorry if I'm too blunt for a former cheer guy.

"You truly are a bad fan, and seemingly a bitter person. Just because your son, and presumably you too, didn't reach your goals in college football is not a reason to constantly diss other people who are accomplishing something. Anyone, other than one of the idiots, want to stick up for CV on this post? I think Coyle is playing well. And he's out there, and none of the rest of us are, or were."

It's all in response to people coming after me or my school or whatever. Feel free to ask anyone who actually knows me well whether there is any inferiority complex. I am very comfortable in my skin and where I'm at in life. Hope you are too.

You'd never know it from your posts.

So you think you can tell what someone is like from their posts on a sports message board? Interesting. Even bankers aren't smart enough to do that.

Good Christ, man. Nobody CARES!!!!

They do. So does the dance team. The guy must have cheered with Megan.

It is seriously very odd how you measure your self worth. You spout shit like that like it's important to people here.

Your posts reek of a serious, debilitating inferiority complex. It's all about Who you know. How much you know. How much smarter you are than everybody else. How high your college team was ranked. How many people you played in front of. How much money you donate. Who comes to your box. Who comes to your lake house. Which ex-Griz are "friends" of yours. You are really starting to remind me of Growler and all his continuous self-aggrandizement.

Seriously, dude. Nobody. Here. CARES.

Nobody.

POTY!

I think with you it's pretty obvious.

If you would've stuck with the bolded/underlined section up above that would have been fine. But instead you attack a person and his son. And then resort to name calling. You really need to learn how to state your opinion without attacking and putting down other people. And nobody on this board cares how much you donated to the cheer squad or how many people you know.

P.S. You owe me $10 for our bet on Bullock. You must never have been in politics to actually think Gianforte would win.

I really like Brock but is he an outside LB at this level? Got beat bad on that TD. Not to mention, he got identified by Gruden as the guy who got beat on the punt block.... hang in there Brock!

Nobody has been a bigger fan of Brock on this board than me. He is a MLB at that level not an OLB. As as for you GF-10, I never played non-scholarship football like you did so I can't put myself into that lower level mind set. Also, my rugby career was a little more demanding than your weekend warrior, beer guzzling escapades.....But keep trying to milk your sports career on egriz. I am sure there is someone who's impressed.....lol.

You were bashing Coyle. Bad form. Don't see anyone agreeing with you.

You never played and started on a D-I team ranked in the top 15. You were not all-conference. Did you even start? What's the largest crowd you ever played in front of as a starter? Mine is 61,000. You never played for the Eagles in rugby, so I'm not sure you accomplished much more than I did. I played with and against lots of Eagles, and I'm sure you did too. I've played in many countries, as I'm sure you did too. Let's hear about that illustrious football career you. Not so much, was it.

I do owe you $10. When posters, especially ones I don't respect, diss coaches (TG), players/ex-players (Coyle), I will sometimes express my view. Expressing my view is not attacking anyone. Saying someone didn't achieve their goals is not attacking them. And look at the "attacks" on me in this thread. Multiple times worse than anything I said. Perhaps you ought to be directing your comments in some other directions. I really don't understand how anyone can think that it's okay to hammer players/coaches/etc., but it's not okay for posters to express that blunt views at those hammering posters. To me, it's very hypocritical.

You should direct your ire at John Gruden. He's the one who "attacked" Coyle for his two eff ups Monday night.

Don't believe Gruden said Coyle got "beat bad" on the TD. Nor do I agree that Coyle got beat bad on it. If Gruden had been posting crap on egriz about Coyle and I had not respect for him, he might have drawn a post from me. Do you not see the hypocrisy in some of your posts in this thread, by the way? You don't like what I said to CV, when I was sticking up for former Griz great Coyle, and then you hammer at me. And then you start a thread about your going to the UNC game. Those are the height of hypocracy.

No, those things have nothing to do with each other....and the height of hypocrisy is using the word and not knowing how to spell it. ;)

PR you've made this board unreadable. you think you are so much better than everybody else and ruin any conversations that are had on here. people are no longer able to point out when somebody makes a mistake with out you jumping down their throats. I truly hope you leave this board soon. you keep thinking you are Gods gift to football and the griz if that makes you kfeel good because nobody else sees it that way.

Put me on Foe then. I am going to stick up for players and former players, and certainly guys like Brock Coyle, who is a Griz hero. I am rarely jump down someone's throat. CV deserved it. If someone is going to jump Coyle, then I may just jump them. I see that you were on the cheer squad. Ask Megan Ibey about me. Ask her how much money I donated to the cheerleaders during her time. She and her sidekick came to our box at halftime for almost 2 years.

It ain't funny, if you gotta talk about your money. Ohhhhh it ain't funny if you gotta talk about your money.
