Brock Coyle

PR you've made this board unreadable. you think you are so much better than everybody else and ruin any conversations that are had on here. people are no longer able to point out when somebody makes a mistake with out you jumping down their throats. I truly hope you leave this board soon. you keep thinking you are Gods gift to football and the griz if that makes you feel good because nobody else sees it that way.

What's the largest crowd you ever played in front of as a starter? Mine is 61,000.

That might be the funniest dick-measuring statistic I've EVER seen on egriz. You've reached a new low, PR.

No, it was a new high. Did you ever play football?

Put me on Foe then. I am going to stick up for players and former players, and certainly guys like Brock Coyle, who is a Griz hero. I am rarely jump down someone's throat. CV deserved it. If someone is going to jump Coyle, then I may just jump them. I see that you were on the cheer squad. Ask Megan Ibey about me. Ask her how much money I donated to the cheerleaders during her time. She and her sidekick came to our box at halftime for almost 2 years.

It is seriously very odd how you measure your self worth. You spout shit like that like it's important to people here.

Your posts reek of a serious, debilitating inferiority complex. It's all about Who you know. How much you know. How much smarter you are than everybody else. How high your college team was ranked. How many people you played in front of. How much money you donate. Who comes to your box. Who comes to your lake house. Which ex-Griz are "friends" of yours. You are really starting to remind me of Growler and all his continuous self-aggrandizement.

Seriously, dude. Nobody. Here. CARES.

Nobody.

It's all in response to people coming after me or my school or whatever. Feel free to ask anyone who actually knows me well whether there is any inferiority complex. I am very comfortable in my skin and where I'm at in life. Hope you are too. I think it's funny how you're getting bugged by comments on the internet. I would be happy to post completely anonymously, or have a new name for every post. Virtually nothing I post on the internet is "about me". I could care less what people like you, and insecure people, think. I'm too old to worry about stuff like that. I am impressed at how you are able to speak for "everyone". You must think you are pretty special.

Back on topic until PR hijacks the page again.....

Enjoyed watching Brock play well last night. He started out slow getting beat on the first TD option run and the missed punt block assignment before then. However, he regrouped nicely and played well the whole game when he wasn't taken off the field in nickel packages. Im excited to see how he plays moving forward.

hahahahaha... I was megans "sidekick" for 2 and a half years. Im sure you are a great person but that doesn't change that you have made it impossible for discussions to happen around here. also continually talking about how people have never played the game is about you. once again I have nothing against you but yes you do jump down peoples throat when you don't agree with them. yes brock is a griz great. wish we still had him. but jumping all over somebody for them pointing out a mistake is over the top. players make mistakes. they are not putting him down for pointing it out. ill bet brock himself would say he made a mistake. clearly you cant handle people disagreeing with you. you might wanna avoid a message board if you cant handle people saying somebody made a mistake. ive always enjoyed reading egriz, even when alpha was here, but you have gotten so over the top I might stop coming here.

Hey PR: Get a life...your semi-golden days aren't even visible in the rear view mirror anymore. You're just another aging schmuck with an oversized belly matching an oversized decades-old frat boy ego. if there's anything else to report about your illustrious past please keep it to yourself. You've bored us enough

I watched bits and pieces of the game last night. From what I saw, Brock looked pretty darn good. It was fun to see him contribute on the big stage. That's a Montana guy we can all be proud of.

If you want a little more insight into his character, here's a story. My 16 year old niece (a born and bred Griz Fan) was in Seattle over the summer getting treatment for leukemia. Brock caught wind of a Grizzly family staying at the Children's Hospital. He called her up personally, and invited her as a guest for a day at Seahawks training camp. After that, he visited her on a regular basis at the children's hospital and befriended the family.

He was inspired by her story. So much so, that he is in the process of starting the Brock Coyle Foundation. The foundation's purpose is to offer financial assistance for travel costs for families of children that have serious medical conditions that require travel to major medical facilities.

How his NFL career pans out is yet to be seen, but he's using his influence with the Seahawks and the NFL for bigger and better causes. I've got nothing but respect for Mr. Brock Coyle.

Also PR, what does giving money to the cheer squad have to do with anything being talked about. once again you are talking about how great you are and how I should respect you... so if I give money to anything does that give me the right to be fan police and tell people how they "should" act. I mean should I back down from you because you gave money to the cheer squad?

I really like Brock but is he an outside LB at this level? Got beat bad on that TD. Not to mention, he got identified by Gruden as the guy who got beat on the punt block.... hang in there Brock!

You truly are a bad fan, and seemingly a bitter person. Just because your son, and presumably you too, didn't reach your goals in college football is not a reason to constantly diss other people who are accomplishing something.

Anyone, other than one of the idiots, want to stick up for CV on this post?

I think Coyle is playing well. And he's out there, and none of the the rest of us are, or were.

Nobody has been a bigger fan of Brock on this board than me. He is a MLB at that level not an OLB. As as for you GF-10, I never played non-scholarship football like you did so I can't put myself into that lower level mind set. Also, my rugby career was a little more demanding than your weekend warrior, beer guzzling escapades.....But keep trying to milk your sports career on egriz. I am sure there is someone who's impressed.....lol.

You were bashing Coyle. Bad form. Don't see anyone agreeing with you.

You never played and started on a D-I team ranked in the top 15. You were not all-conference. Did you even start? What's the largest crowd you ever played in front of as a starter? Mine is 61,000. You never played for the Eagles in rugby, so I'm not sure you accomplished much more than I did. I played with and against lots of Eagles, and I'm sure you did too. I've played in many countries, as I'm sure you did too. Let's hear about that illustrious football career you. Not so much, was it.

My intention was not to "jump" Brock Coyle. He was forced to play out of position due to an injury. I was actual trying to encourage him after a difficult start to the game. As far as the rest of your comments? Who cares.....if you want to brag about your past exploits go ahead. Have at it....Like I said, there might be a few posters who actually care. I unfortunately, don't....

Defending Coyle is not hijacking the thread. It's what a poster named "PlayerRep" does, and is paid to do.

Like they say in Texas, if it's true, it aint bragging. And, again, you are the one who keeps bringing up the subject--not me. If you really don't care, why do you keep brining up the subject?
