Britt in the portal

If Britt had gotten the prep time and been named QB2 from the get-go, I bet his development and played throughout the year would have gotten much better rather than just storing them in at the tail end of a couple of cupcakes and then the two biggest games of the year at the end of the season… Just saying

Maybe he should have worked harder, listened to his coaches better, not argued with his OC (rumor), complained less to teammates.

To be fair, rosenbauch is shit.

The only reason Bergen might not leave now is because of the OC change. If there wasn't a change he was gone. Same with another very talented young offensive player

So who’s the new OC? Someone who’s already on the staff?

We do have 2 on staff already, one of which spent some time as an OC in the SEC and MW conferences. But that’s just my guess.

Yes this is what I heard as well. I heard a few players were basing their decision to stay or go based on a change at OC. Sounds like that change has happened. An in house change is my understanding but I’m all for any change at OC as we have struggled there compared to our conference foes for years.

If they make Pease the oc, we might as well just forfeit next season. The whole offensive staff needs replaced. I'd like to see Germer gone more than anyone else.

Ranking of the coaches i want gone the most:
1. Germer
2. Rosenbauch
3. Pease
4. Dan Ryan
5. Phenicie

I pray to God that's true. Having your starting qb injured every year since a certain o line coach was hired, isn't a good look on your resume

College football coaching is a tough gig. These guys are all humans and have families. They all have put way more into Griz football over the years than anyone on these discussion boards. The glee with which people express when the discussion comes to these guys losing their jobs is pretty twisted.

BP

Yuck

Is this the really the “change” anyone was hoping for?

Brent is widely known as being yet another caustic asshole that screams at and insults his players like it’s going out of style.

THIS IS NOT IT!

Look at how many places most coaches go during their careers. Just as school administrators in pretty much the rest of the country get two or three years in a position, so be it for college coaches (high school in many states).

Lots of people in life have “tough gigs”. That doesn’t make them immune from criticism. This is what you sign up for when you take a job at this level. And some of these coaches have been doing their job poorly for some time. In addition, several treat their players like shit. What you are seeing is justified frustration from a fan base that deserves better.

I agree that many people have tough gigs. But they aren't subject to constant public scrutiny and scorn . I would say that many Griz fans are awesome but a lot of them are really just ridiculous. Almost comical in their criticism. I'm not quite sure what any fan base "deserves." I think every fan base believes they "deserve" more. I think many on here are wildly unrealistic with their expectations. And so with those wildly unrealistic expectations they believe it is ok to dehumanize these guys who actually work their asses off. A lot of them played here and got the shit knocked out of them to entertain us. So yea they deserve our respect because they put way more into Griz football than us that have a few Cold Smokes and buy a $40 ticket to watch a game.

It's not dehumanizing to think someone in college football is doing a bad job, and hope they're replaced by someone better. Frankly, the players deserve the best coaching they can get.

Gotgame is a prime example of one of the things wrong with college sports. Never played the game. Doesn't understand it. Just a complainer.

Why do fans deserve anything? Why do players?
