To play football for a great program with very good coaches, in a great town.

I was hoping for the same, but I believe with this coaching staff, there is ZERO chance for any current QB on the roster to have a shot at the starting job if they are bringing in a transfer, which sounds like a certainty.

Heard this was a probable thing a couple weeks ago....I know rumors are rumors but the same person told me Ostmo and Grossman were thinking of entering the portal..........hoping she is wrong but she is 1 for 1 right now. I guess when you have an inept system run by stubborn arrogance this the what happens.

This is getting more and more difficult to answer. I guess, maybe if the kid had no other offers. Or if his only offer was from (random choice) NCU?

I like Daniel Britt a lot I also liked Gresch Jensen. If they want to move on for what they see are greener pastures, more power to them. Everything worked out pretty darn good when Dalton Sneed came in even though people like you and others we’re ready to burn the program to the ground over it. You cannot be afraid to compete for your starting role.

I will also say this we are the minor leagues now for FBS programs. I wouldn’t doubt for a second that a mountain west school has already told Britt if he goes into the portal he’s got a full scholarship with them. It would not surprise me to see him end up at a Nevada or Colorado state or something like that.

Way better to bring a transfer in every year, Luc J led the Griz all the way to 6th in conference, it’s a proven system, developing a QB is stupid.

I an not sure MSU has done a very good job developing quarterbacks. They hit the portal hard at the position also. What they did have was luck with a few tough-nosed Montana kids, that aren't really QB's, that have stayed and fought.

I think they are smart in the portal...You get a second QB that runs a similar style so that...wait for it...if one is injured the other can play. You also play them both to give teams more to prepare for. Tommy is NOT a good passer. he is a 1 progression type thrower. He needs to work on that aspect. But to have both...that helps a ton. The Griz need to do the same...have 2 players that you can count on. This old ass staff needs to change a whole lotta things.
