Awesome! Hope he goes there, tears it up, and makes all his eGriz detractors eat a big ol' shit sandwich.

Britt would be the best QB on our team right now.
I'm sure playing behind Brown helped him decide to leave.
I thought he had lots of potential. Sometimes, some
Effective communication resolved issues.
Maybe if he practiced as the 2, played ahead of Brown and got game experience, he would have played better against NDSU.
A lot of QBs are not successful against NDSU.

Would he go to a school where the good young qb, Martinez, just left? Don't think Martinez has a home yet.

I was curious if Martinez committed anywhere yet. They're obviously looking for a QB though if they offered him.

If-when UM gets a dropdown in the next few weeks, there will be no qb depth chart, just like there isn't one now. Do you really know so little about college football?

Technically he's right here...everyone may assume who the #1 is, but many schools have to look at spring ball first to see how it unfolds. Sometimes coaches will say who number 1 is, others say the coachspeak. But yes, USC has their #1 and there is absolutely nothing short of injury or dumbassness by the player that will change that...depth chart or not. I think a good way to look at it is the RB situation. Who IS #1? my guess is this spring it will be 1A, 1B, and 1C and that may carry over to the season. Those dudes all know that, regardless of who thinks they are #1, they all get carries. A good RB (QB, WR) room you want to push each other to make all of them better.
The players generally don't think they are #1 during winter conditioning because it is just that, conditioning. It is where they work hard to hopefully move up the depth chart. Once spring ball starts though, that changes things. One of the Qbs on the roster now very likely will start spring ball as QB1, but will be passed as soon as the drop down learns the playbook. When I played a long time ago, we had a drop down QB. The one's we had were fine, but he was on another level, and you could see it from day 1. Yes the others knew the playbook better and early on looked good, but didn't take long for them to be passed just on the skill. It was funny, because I was friends with 2 of the QBs and we would all sit and watch as the ball came whipping out. They knew too, and they didn't care as long as we won.

Playa's comment was no team has a starting QB going into winter conditioning.

That is false. Period. Many teams do.

Except vs the Griz....agree.

If the Griz land an FBS drop-down....that dude is QB #1. He is QB #1 the day he steps on campus - into winter conditioning- first day of spring ball - summer workouts - and game 1 starter. Period.

There will be a crap=ton of coach speak about competing and iron sharpens iron. But, it is just that - coach speak.

If-when UM gets a dropdown in the next few weeks, there will be no qb depth chart, just like there isn't one now. Do you really know so little about college football?

Tell that to G. Jensen

That's awesome for Daniel!

I hope we pick him off 4 times and bury them by 40.

Interesting. He jumped on that NAU offer fast. Someone posted and claimed he had 10 offers or so but I don’t think that’s true. He literally posted NAU and Bryant and jumped on NAU. I think he (and myself included) thought there would be lots of other offers. Glad he found a spot

Yeah they said he had offers from NDSU and some fbs programs too. Yet posted his offers from Bryant and NAU and then committed to NAU real quick like.
Expecting just to start, that's for sure.

Your post has too much logic and makes way too much sense for egriz… I'm surprised that hoops hasn't told you how wrong you are or that you have obviously never played the game yet :thumb:
