Maybe if the Griz football program took a tougher stance on underage drinking a few of these ugly events may never have taken place. Sometimes it takes a sacrafice to put the scare in them.

Gimme a break.

Do you honestly believe there's less drinking by msu athletes? If so, you're either lying, or a total twit.

I fear it may be both. :o

I never said I knew how much drinking was going on at any college campus, I know college kids drink, but maybe the coach ( of any team) should have a come to Jesus talk with the kids. I just don'r read as much of the others in the newspapers. Funny how when anyone says something negative about the Griz they are automatically labeled a Cat fan. Wow Bozeman is going to have build a bigger stadium to handle all these fans.

Evidently, you don't often read the Comical out of Bozo, then. Geez, forget underage drinking for a moment; how many underage msu athletes have been in brawls at the bar the last couple of years, say nothing of those arrested breaking into cars, breaking int the mayor's home, vandalizing property, etc, etc, etc?

Funny how cat fans (or those pretending not to be cat fans) cannot read. At no point did I call you a cat fan. I was simply stating the obvious fact that UM has taken -- at the bare minimum -- a far more punitive and public stance on these issues than many schools, msu included. Frankly, I don't care who you're a fan of.

Bozeman is going to have build a bigger stadium to handle all these fans.

Good luck with that..... Although, from a personal standpoint, I'd love to see it happen. That way the GRIZ fans would take over that place once every two years and turn it into their own little EastWashington Grizzly Stadium, much like they've done at Cheney.

And if you can provide me one -- ONE -- example of a cat player being suspended for an entire season plus a full camp for drinking, I'll send you a gold star. Good luck in your search.

If you set your obsession with the Cats to the side AND the fact that because someone else does it - doesn't make it right, I think the question is: Can something be done to curb underage drinking in college - particularly for those who respresent an institution in such a public manner? Obviously both MSU and UM have issues related to it...

Sorry, go back to personal attacks...

Ohhh, the irony of a cat fan claiming a GRIZ fan has obsession with the cats when that cat fan is replying to a reply by a GRIZ fan to yet another cat fan on a GRIZ board. That is just flat out AWESOME!!! Well done, Mr. Head!

And again, I realize you boys over there don't read well. But at no point did I suggest underage drinking was "okay". I was simply refuting the ridiculous argument put forth by the (claimingnottobe) cat fan who suggests that the way UM handles those situations differs and therefore there is more of it at UM than other schools. So, do we disagree on that point or not?

And yes, both schools (all schools) should do something to curb underage drinking. But contrary to the (pretendingnottobe) cat fan's position, that is a problem far, far larger than the UM athletic program. On THAT point I'm certain we agree.

Aside from your continued personal attacks (which to me are a sign your arguement is weak or you are directing hostility), I see how YOU have taken his comments as a slant against UM and defending them. As I indicated (please reread it), I simply took his comments as it is a universal problem. But then again, sorry for commenting here - I understand you are truly just looking for a punching bag....

Then if you conduct your response as a vengeance, then let it be "just" in it's deportment; that way no one would have an arguement with what you have said and done. As it's been stated before, equality never ends in strife. This a pragmatic approach 'in place" of going around delivering "lessons." One's personal security is dependant upon what you say and do.

For the "what it's worth" department this Cat Fan thinks that Maus paid a very, very, heavy price for a night of youthful indiscretion....I wish him the best of luck......and becomes a better man for it....believe me incidents like this can and do often change a person for the better.....now carry on!!!!
