Nice!! I love it when these guys come for a game and then commit right after. The facilities and game atmosphere have to play a part. He had a number of offers too - South Dakota, SDSU, Idaho State, Tennessee tech, Eastern Kentucky, plus the two FBS offers. Great to see UM win on some of these guys.

Are we establishing a Carroll College pipeline ?? first Hunter Peck and now Orlandi----each a great git. While I'm a Carroll fan it's not very likely that Orlandi as Frontier Conference DPOY and two-years of eligibilty was not going to land somewhere in FCS or even FBS.

Big recruiting win right out of the gate in the transfer window. Talk about a guy that fits, this is him. He looks ready to go day 1. I like the strategy of getting the best frontier defensive player every year. Might be fun thing to watch if the coaching staff makes a habit of it
It is. Second year in a row that Montana got the frontier DPOY from Carroll. Peck last year and now orlandi. Peck has worked out about as well as any could have hoped.
We're definitely gonna start seeing more of these NAIA kids start betting on themselves after seeing what Hunter Peck did this year. The WR from Rocky committed to NAU yesterday, and now Tech has a kid whose trying to move up too (spacing on the name). My next door neighbors son plays for Rocky and he literally said to me the goal is to ball out enough that he could put himself in a position to one day try and make it to the Griz. Be curious to see how much of a trend this becomes.
I agree Peck was a great addition and that might have given the staff confidence in the concept
I pointed this out on here a couple years ago, but back when SDSU was in their generational run, they had a guy or two who were big contributors who they got from NAIA schools.

Im gonna venture no because it wasnt a recruiting win vs the scats since they didn't offer. Also, hes not a Montana kid and Schmidt seems to only care about montana recruits. Also, should we give a schmidt what schmidt thinks?Also do we know if whiny ass Andrew Schmidt is okay with this addition
