BARN BALL said::shocked: I think it was Pacific vs Pittsburg just before Griz played University of Washington in the NCAA Tournament in Boise. Two years ago 2005.
If so I was very impressed by Pacific. Lots of Big People shooting big shots. But the shots did not drop vs Washington on Sat two days later. Must be in a rebuild. Most likely improving as there should be no reason that they would not be able to recruit after the season they had that year.

In 05-06, they lost to 4th seeded BC after blowing a 6 point lead in overtime.
Don't be fooled by their record, they have played their fair share of tough games including Texas A&M, New Mexico St., Wisconsin, Nevada, St. Louis, and Santa Clara.
Kind of a snoozer this year becuase there won't be many implications after the outcome, but should be an interesting game next year.
