That's odd... I was led to believe earlier this season that it was fun to cheer for the C-A-T-S

Only if you have your Blue Bobcat Cup...and it's full of vodka so you can drown your sorrows.

You bite your tongues, C-A-T-S is the anthem of this generation. I am holding out against all hope that the dude who had it in MP3 format will award us with it once again. The people who laid that track should be very proud.

Nice! And my personal boycott of Wheat Montana is going very well. No means no, right Dean?

The only hard part has been in the hamburger bun department. The WM buns were my gameday go-to for cheeseburgers. FWM

People aren’t the only ones who get the blues — cats fans can suffer from depression too.

Behaviorists first recognized depression in cats in the late 1980s, and felines can become depressed for several reasons.

A major disruption such as moving, losing or a change in schedule can trigger it. If a cat’s owner is going through a stressful time, the animal could also mimic that unhappy behavior.

Depression symptoms

A depressed kitty can exhibit a variety of symptoms, but one of the main indicators of depression or other illness is loss of appetite. If your feline leaves food untouched — especially for more than a day — you should consult your veterinarian.

Additional signs of feline depression include the following:•
Loss of interest in playtime

Lack of grooming

Signs of lethargy or changes in personality

Aggression

November

Increased sleeping

Hiding in an isolated place or rarely used room

However, keep in mind that these symptoms could also indicate a number of other medical conditions.

Treatments

Simply spending more time with your feline friend can help turn that kitty’s frown upside down, especially if there’s been a change in routine or another person or pet has moved in. Try introducing your cat to new toys and play with him or her for at least 30 minutes a day.

During cold, dark Fall months, provide your kitty some extra light — leave a lamp on, pull back the shades or open the blinds. But leave the TV off during Play off Games.

You can also try a product like Feliway, which uses pheremones to help relieve feline stress.

If your cat isn’t eating or has exhibited symptoms of depression for several days, take your pet to the vet for a checkup. If a veterinarian gives your cat a clean bill of health, discuss the possibility of depression. Your vet may recommend behavioral modification techniques or prescription antidepressants.

I almost feel bad for the Cats, sliding from no. 2 to missing the playoffs in all likelihood. Beating them next week will be like like euthanizing an old cat. It's sad but it just has to be done. It's better this way. Go quietly into the winter night old friend, the rest of us must play on ...

wow

LMAO

You are a gentleman. Thank you very much. This has been on repeat in my house for the last hour and may very well be the soundtrack to my life.

Oh I still have it my friend. It may make it on here again some day when the timing is right and they stop threatening me with copyright infringement even though they are the idiots who put it on YouTube to begin with!

You know they are reeling when one of their posters says that Brick Breeden is better than the Adams Fieldhouse for basketball.....

Only in Bozeman would someone name a basketball facility "Brick."

After watching them play under Huse the past several years "Brick" is very appropriate.

Frankly, I am somewhat stunned. The past two games just didn't look like "the Cats." Their ranking was well-deserved. What happened?

"Teams" are always an amorphous collection of talent, spirit, coaching, momentum, and luck, but I didn't even understand the game I watched today. That wasn't the Bobcats.

Where did they go?

Kirk at 50% didn't help.

They had 7 or 8 starters out that game, and statistically SUU has the best defense in the BSC.

Honestly, DM played a bad game, it was a simple as that. He took responsibility for the loss...and frankly, he should have. Don't expect him to repeat the same mistake this week. not sure how "hot" he'll be, but I don't expect him to lose this game.

This worries me a bit. DM is a winner. It's his last game at home. We are favorites to win this one, but I have a feeling it will be a BATTLE.

Loved how at about the 7-8 minute mark of the 4th quarter, while MSU was showing a pulse, the crowd starts chanting F-T-G, F-T-G.

They're about to lose their way out of the playoffs and STILL all they have on their minds is their obsession with the superior team 200 miles to the West.

Bobcats haven't played good football in over a month. They had trouble with both NCU and Weber state. Then they get blown out by EWU, and a week later get totally outplayed and beaten by a SUU team who just a week before was taken to the wire by weber. Bobcats aren't the greatest this year for one reason or another. I expect that it will be a hard fought game. But I also expect the Griz to win by at least 10 points.
