Bobcats and North Dakota

I'm going to say... Big Sky Brewery is the most recognizable brand from Montana, outside of Montana.

You may be right. Since leaving Montana, I've lived in WA, OR, and ID and Montana Mixers can be found about anywhere and people are pretty familiar with the brand. I was in Chicago for work last fall and found Big Sky at more than one place... Didn't realize they had spread out that much till then.

I'm going with Simms or Sun Valley. Both are globally known in their respective sport.

Montana just doesn't have a lot of nationally recognized companies domiciled there.

I know people from Mississippi who are familiar with Moose Drool, and I found it in Phoenix in the only store I scouted out

Simms does have a global footprint. I was in Lake Bled Slovenia last year and walked into a shop with a Simms sticker on the door and waders on the rack!
