I enjoyed the win as much as anyone, but no student athlete deserves a "John Doe eff'd up" headline. I've never seen a that in a Griz-Cat headline before. I hope I to never see the Missoulian blame a loss on a single player like that.

Wags and Rehm weren't even recruited by the Cats. They've got that Texas pipeline which produces their starters and the win the in-state recruiting battle each year to get their second stringers. Guys like Wags, Rehm, Peevey, Burke and Janssen would be relegated to intramurals in Bozeman. They only go to "Dakota" for early season games before it gets too cold and loud.

That thread is going way too far now. Someone cliaming that 20/20, which I didn't even know still existed, is currently producing a story on Montana stealing MSU's signals, and a stolen Eastern Washington playbook??? WTF. It's one thing to discuss a conspiracy theory, but that thread is going way too far. It's way beyond sour grapes now. It's just gone into the realm of insanity and lying. And for what? People just trashing other people's reputation over one football game is just stupid.

The Irony is, MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY PAID for a full page add to honor Mick Delaney in the Missoulian, and now, supposed fans that represent that university are claiming Mick and his staff are dirty and that Ash knows they're dirty. That kind of flies in the face of everything that add and the message Montana State was sending, stood for.

Thankfully, the MSU fan base is made of 99 percent good and rational people, just like the UM fan base is not represented by Monte or a few other over the top internet posters. But as good as the MSU fan base is, man that thread on BN right now is making that fan base look really, really bad in my opinion.
 
I think they have what engineers (they do have engineers over there) call a negative feedback loop going on. The thought (?) seems to be: No! It's even worse that what you posted ... and here's how.

It could get even funnier, if the team gets its act together and wins the playoff game against SDSU. As I recall, SDSU is somewhat favored, but MSU really is a better team than they showed against the Griz ... so they could win. What kind of a flip-flop might we expect in that case? Especially if Breslin leads them to a win. How funny, after all the s**t over there, would that be? Jake would suddenly be the "second coming."
