First, congratulations on a dominating win and good luck in the playoffs. Second, please don't equate some of the blowhards on Bobcat Nation to the entire fan base. Most of us are feeling for Jake and worry he is hurt.

Most of us old CAT fans are always nervous during the week of the Brawl because the Griz always seem to get better as the year goes on. The mark of an excellent program. I wish we could play you earlier in the year, Ha.

Again good luck next week but especially the week after at EWU. I can't stand those guys!

Umista, agree. I too feel sad for Bleskin. As I posted elsewhere a few weeks back I didn't believe he was a good QB*. That said, the poor kid will carry this fiasco with him the rest of his life. I don't remember what happened on the fifth pick, but of the first four I'd place the blame for three of them squarely on the bobcat offensive line's inability to handle, or hardly slow down, our defensive rush. So I do feel sorry for the kid.

* I stated I never believed Bleskin was a very good QB, with the caveat, "Though every QB playing in the Big Sky has to be a good QB or they wouldn't be there". :ugeek:

I was proud of myself for staying off of BN last night, and most of today. I'm not a poster there so even if I wanted to talk smack, which I don't, I couldn't anyway. But I went over there tonight to see about Colter's scouting report on SDSU. And man, I wish I wouldn't have.

Honestly, for ALL of the hatred over the years towards Griz fans, with so many different reasons, in my opinion, at least a small handful of Cat fans really shot themselves in the foot on that board the last 24 hours.

ONE GUY honestly suggested that the game might have been thrown and wanted it looked into.

Another biggie is the IRONY of the turnover issue. "Three turnovers in the redzone. If we score, we might have won the game." It's funny, I seem to remember Griz fans being ABUSED for saying THREE turnovers in the RZ in 2010 and the game would have been completely different. ABUSED for that sentiment, and that game was a HELL of a lot closer than 34-7 at the end.

And then there's Papa G. Oh that guy never lets me down. Not only calling Wags dirty and cheap, but saying he'll now NEVER respect anyone who wears the No. 37 again (As if he probably ever did). LOL. I don't suppose Papa G could handle the fact that Wags is good friendly with about every Montana-born junior and senior on the damn MSU roster. LOL. I wonder if those guys, including Jake think Wags is a dirty player? My bet is absolutely not.

It just kills me, and I''m only speaking for myself, but I feel like I'm one of the most objective Griz fans there is when it comes to MSU. I've never HATED a single player who's played for Montana State. I respect the HELL out of Rob Ash. And you know what's funny, while I'll admit I was reveling in Saturday's game, I couldn't help but think about Dakota Prukop on my way out of the stadium. I couldn't help but think, "man, he's gonna get his chance at the Griz in 2015, in Bobcat Stadium, with a pretty talented group of players around him." It was a year away, and the Griz just kicked MSU's ass, and I was already thinking, I really don't wanna see that next year. That's objectivity. And I have to say, I was pretty disappointed by a lot of what I read on BN tonight. Thank god my actual MSU friends, who include some boosters, don't act or talk like that, and none of the MSU guys I chatted with at the Broadway Saturday night were talking like that either.

I like the thread over there where they can't figure out why our defense over the past years has held their offense way below their season averages. They feel that we are stealing their signals and know their plays before they run them. Hopefully someday they will give credit to a good defense. Probably not.

I can't believe all the shit Bleskin's getting... I was at the game and pretty tuned up, but from what I remember the griz defense made him play that badly. I'd still take him over SSH as backup here.

You don't get that from game film that is traded between teams. That is someone in the stands recording our play calling, then recording the play, then analyzing the tapes and creating a game plan. Cheaters!!! Hate to say it. But it is true and they know it."

I got banned from BN last year...think I made about 10 posts in my career over there. Called them "Poll Cats" along with a few other little "civil" jabs....and was gone!
