And how is this unlike any week on egriz after a UM loss? Hell... you guys eat young ever after some close wins  Good luck in the playoffs. I'll be in Cheney for your week 2 game

No different.

Slight difference, we are used to winning, you guys....not so much.

It's funny, I thought about creating a thread that had all the comments over the last week from cat fans about how they were going to roll. Decided against it. Think them doing it on their own board is much more entertaining!

complete dumpster fire over there. real annoying. people need some perspective. first and foremost we're in the playoffs. we host a very good sdsu team saturday. doesn't get much better than that in my opinion.

yesterdays game is really simple actually. we turned the ball over 7 times. not sure i've ever seen that. it's a credit to your defense.

our o-line couldn't stop your d-line. bleskin was hit nearly every single play. i long for a d-line like that.

which bring me to our d-line. it's driven me nuts all year. we don't get to the quarterback ever. we get no push whatsoever.

congrats on the win.

I really feel terrible for Bleskin. I hope he has a chance to redeem himself. Some very vicious comments floating around over there. I like the "Someday your kid might be wearing #10" thread. Puts it all in to perspective.

This. I couldn't read very much over there. Felt bad for the kid too.

And the new #1, tinfoil hat winner......

"I distinctly remember that in 2011, the griz were near dead on stealing our offensive calls. I know because I sat above them in 101 and watched them read our calls, translate them and the send them into the defense. Then, when the griz went to signal in their calls, they blocked them with a big griz flag. I was enraged.

So it's not a stretch to think that the calls are being read/intercepted with some success, even now that Pflu has been gone."

Sounds to me like one team was significantly better prepared.

I told you so! The now famous msu meltdown at the end of the season is going strong!

Common, so common I wish msu could pull out of such a famous late season fate. What are they drinking?

With the name Montana attached to them I hope they win some play-off games as it is embarrassing to be mistaken for state. Good luck in the post season state.

Thought our guys got the memo the last time they were accused of stealing signals.

"Cover your eyes until the Cats snap the ball."

My favorite.

"Who are you going to put in? Prukop is in street clothes. Roderick? They needed a drop-down this year as they knew this offense would have your QB literally beat to death. Great depth with WRs and RBs but...come on..."

It's actually more fun today to come over here and read you guys slamming us from Bobcat nation than to stay over there and read some of that crap.
Like the comment about watching the game was like a car wreck, I keep reading because I want to see what kind of excuse, lame brained comment we can come up with next.

I guess I'm not that surprised about the cats' fans reaction, but what bothers me a little bit is that they seem to think that their program is on par with the Griz program and that is not the case. They should not have been surprised about the outcome except perhaps by the extent of the drubbing although over the years it has been pretty common for the Griz to win by a lopsided margin. It was clear from the beginning that the Griz were the superior team and playing in Wa-Griz stadium made it that much more difficult for the cats to pull off the win.

I was proud of myself for staying off of BN last night, and most of today. I'm not a poster there so even if I wanted to talk smack, which I don't, I couldn't anyway. But I went over there tonight to see about Colter's scouting report on SDSU. And man, I wish I wouldn't have.

Honestly, for ALL of the hatred over the years towards Griz fans, with so many different reasons, in my opinion, at least a small handful of Cat fans really shot themselves in the foot on that board the last 24 hours.

ONE GUY honestly suggested that the game might have been thrown and wanted it looked into.

Another biggie is the IRONY of the turnover issue. "Three turnovers in the redzone. If we score, we might have won the game." It's funny, I seem to remember Griz fans being ABUSED for saying THREE turnovers in the RZ in 2010 and the game would have been completely different. ABUSED for that sentiment, and that game was a HELL of a lot closer than 34-7 at the end.

And then there's Papa G. Oh that guy never lets me down. Not only calling Wags dirty and cheap, but saying he'll now NEVER respect anyone who wears the No. 37 again (As if he probably ever did). LOL. I don't suppose Papa G could handle the fact that Wags is good friendly with about every Montana-born junior and senior on the damn MSU roster. LOL. I wonder if those guys, including Jake think Wags is a dirty player? My bet is absolutely not.

It just kills me, and I''m only speaking for myself, but I feel like I'm one of the most objective Griz fans there is when it comes to MSU. I've never HATED a single player who's played for Montana State. I respect the HELL out of Rob Ash. And you know what's funny, while I'll admit I was reveling in Saturday's game, I couldn't help but think about Dakota Prukop on my way out of the stadium. I couldn't help but think, "man, he's gonna get his chance at the Griz in 2015, in Bobcat Stadium, with a pretty talented group of players around him." It was a year away, and the Griz just kicked MSU's ass, and I was already thinking, I really don't wanna see that next year. That's objectivity. And I have to say, I was pretty disappointed by a lot of what I read on BN tonight. Thank god my actual MSU friends, who include some boosters, don't act or talk like that, and none of the MSU guys I chatted with at the Broadway Saturday night were talking like that either.

And then there's Papa G.

Not even worth reading his posts most of the time. He's got a closet full of tinfoil hats he plops on his head every time he talks about the Griz.

I followed the Griz vs Cats thread over there during timeouts a bit while at the game. Really recommend checking it out. It's comedy gold. I know I'll be linking it every time a Cat fan says anything about eGriz being ridiculous from now on.

Besides the "throwing the game" thing there were also cries for pulling Bleskin's scholarship immediately, someone hoping that Bleskin was hurt on his last fumble, for sale signs being purchased for Ash's front yard, saying this is why they shouldn't hire outsiders & Ash should go back to Iowa, etc etc. I can't even do it justice...it's worth checking out.

Over the past many years their board has been pretty entertaining read towards the end of FB seasons when they begin their end of season slide. The game threads especially.

Here's one of my favorite quotes from during the game:

at least Jake cant turn the ball over at half time! Can He?

Gave me some good half time entertainment :)

Haven't been to bcn in a couple years, but I'm pleased to see that Papa G (which stands for Government Conspiracy) hasn't changed.

I heard from a few of my cat friends that nearly everyone there is calling for Ash's head. I can only presume these were the same posters who've been claiming all along about how they have the superior coaching staff....

Ahh, when will those silly kids learn?

I guess you could say the mood on the first page of the game thread over there was a little different than a few pages in, and obviously it got way worse.

One poster said something to the effect Bleskin couldn't be throwing the game because he was already way to busy throwing interceptions.

I hope he starts again this weekend and at least gives SDSU a run for their money or maybe even pull out a victory. The game here would be a rough note to end his season on.

Thing is if you read through the ISU game thread over there he was the big hero. How things can change when you have one bad day of running for your life.

If you want real entertainment go through some of the topics (on bobcatnation) pre Griz game. I especially like the one where they suggested spotting us at least one TD so we would have a chance of keeping it closer.

heres a fun one.....

Cats are underdogs for sure

Postby aucat on Sun Nov 23, 2014 11:31 pm

Just checked on SDSU: They destroyed Cal Poly 44-18 and Southern Utah 26-6. Also, they played
Missouri a competitive game, 38-18 and currently Missouri is leading the SEC East.

Is this going to be yet another beat down? Unless the Cats play at a much, much higher level it will be.

Some are saying the season starts anew. On paper, yes, that is true. In reality though, Cat fans are still
licking their wounds from the disgraceful performance on Sat. It is really embarrassing to open up the paper today and see the headline "Cat-astrophic,"
then go to the sports page and read "Maul of the WIld." Pretty good play on words, but that is exactly what
we had.

So the bottom line, coming off one of the worst beat downs in the history of Cat-Griz, will the fans feel like
coming back out to watch this team play? I don't expect a crowd of more than 13,000. I'll be there cheering.
As I said, I vote with my butt in the seats, but I am totally disgusted at the fact that MSU is not able to compete
with UM in any sport. I joked to my friends that the Montana state legislature needs to get involved and regulate
Cat-Griz games in all sports. Just as we handicap in golf, the Cats should be given 10 points prior to the start of
any game against the Griz. But wait! Dang, even that would not've worked! The beat down would've been 34-17
instead of 34-7. So much for THAT idea!

and this one......

Cat-Griz mystery

Postby TomCat88 on Sun Nov 23, 2014 10:36 pm

Since 1995, the Bobcats haven't been able to muster much offense against UM. 1995 represents the last time MSU scored over 30 points. I looked it up a while back and, while I don't recall the exact number off the top of my head, MSU has only had a couple games over 400 yards vs. UM during that span.

The most glaring period has been the past five years. MSU has had one of the more prolific offenses in the BSC, yet hasn't gone over 400 yards (the best was 354 in 2012) once against UM. I think MSU has been over 400 yards in close to 90% of its games during that time frame and UM has had a couple years (2012-13) where it has been below average defensively. Seems strange that MSU hasn't had one game over 400 vs. UM.

2014 - 314
2013 - 272
2012 - 354
2011 - 250
2010 - 278

I would bet that all five of these games rank in the bottom 20% of all games the past five years.

They already have this figured out. We are stealing their signals and hiding ours with a large flag.

but at least one has a sense of humor.....

Once again, MSU won the food drive.

Unfortunately the shipment was intercepted before it could be delivered.
