Bobby's Press Release

I see we took a turn somewhere.

So Bobby said there was something wrong and it needed fixed. So does anyone know if it is fixed? In the Spoksman he was quoted as saying we made a lot of little mistakes the whole game. That doesn’t sound like he is looking for any major changes. I didn’t read through all this, just asking a question so please don’t throw things at me.

I’m gonna guess “no”. It’s been needing fixed for about 15 games, and hasn’t been fixed yet.

I wish the media would stand a little more firm with him. Would give you all more answers for those not in the mighty QB club. But seems like he just makes sure the fridge is stocked before those meetings start and all is well.

SportsBetMT has the implied score of 39-17.5.

I lean the under and isu covering.

Griz are 1-3 against the spread, so ISU covering is almost a lock. I see no scenario where the Griz score 39. ISU is better than NAU and they couldn’t put up 17 on NAU.

CdA I'm a little disappointed in you. You couldn't come up with a way to equate double repping to double fishing beers by coaches. You're losing your edge man.

I guess I just don’t know what double fishing beers means.

I hate the spell check on my phone....

What would that accomplish if the media was more firm? And he has not been positive 1 time in QB Club the whole year. Basically showed only negative plays and how we screwed up. Yes he took accountability. You guys make up so many false narratives

Interesting perspective when the spotlight is on your HC. Seems like the media should only be more firm in Bozeman. I don’t think it’s unfair to ask more heavy hitters during the presser. Bobby hasn’t really dealt with any criticism there. He just whines and punches back at the media.

I agree. I have never met him in person, but I think he intimidates everyone, from the press corps to the AD. So people just back off. There definitely needs to be more accountability for both the results on the field and his own behavior. I have heard of a number of people who have sent emails to Haslam and have gotten return emails from him. Whether that comes to anything or not, who knows?

UM needs Hauck a lot more than Hauck needs UM.

Disagree. Vehemently.

You are welcome to continue to be wrong on almost everything about Griz football. Money is already tight in athletics. Maybe we will see what happens if the money Hauck attracts goes away.

Bobby's a great guy. I had some beers with Tim, his mom and his sister tonight. They were entertaining parents. I met the dad's of White and Childs tonight. Cool guys. Former great athletes.

Why would the money go away if Hauck were gone? Are you implying boosters will refrain from donating if he is no longer the coach?

Did you ever stop to think that the university telling you money is tight all the time is maybe them trying to pinch that next little nugget of a donation out of you? As long as there is gullible boosters around it doesn’t matter who the coach is as long as they make y’all feel important and give you a hint of what you believe to be private access. You know, stroke that ego.

The only thing I can glean out of your response is that maybe you will go away if Hauck does????

Funny, you have yet to be correct on anything in regards to this coaching staff or the play of the team, in particular over the last 2 years.

So you are having beers with one of the coaches the night before a game? Interesting.

In 2013 we stopped at a little liquor store in Grand Forks, ND to pick up some booze to tailgate with for the Griz game at the Alerus center. As I am standing there in my UND Fighting Sioux shirt, and my wife in her Griz clothes in walks UND head coach Mussman.

UND just had a bad year, and the Coach was in the hot seat, in fact, he was fired at the end of the season, and Bubba became the coach.

I said to Coach Mussman, after last year it isn’t a good look for a coach to be grabbing booze right before heading to the game and if the wrong person sees you it will be in the papers. He smiled and didn’t say a word.

I would think Tim Hauck would have better things to do the night before a game than to have beers with someone that isn’t part of the coaching staff.

Some bigger boosters are his good friends. They donate because they like him and the program and are inclined to donate if he asks. It takes time to build strong relationships and Bobby has them. This is nothing unusual.

The U hasn’t told me anything. Former employees have and I can read financial statements and info. It’s a problem for many schools. Do you think UM is dishonest with its donors?

I have been correct on almost all of that.
