Bobby Hauck

HikeGlacier probably thinks starting 4-2, with all 4 wins against non playoff teams, means you have a better chance at winning the national championship than starting 6-0 with wins against top 10 and 20 opponents. If UND upsets NDSU and SDSU it will just further the Griz case as the best team in the FCS.
HikeGlacier doesn't actually think. He just has a lot of years of bitterness and alcoholism pushing him to go to Egriz and social media to bitch about the coach that he hates. What a sad life.

He has literally bitched about every coach we've had since eGriz became a thing, even the one he now claims he liked (Pflugrad). He is a Griz hater, and nothing more.

Hauck is and always has been a great coach. He’s been to the playoffs every year he’s been a head coach at UM except his first year back to rebuild the program from the ashes stitt left it in. He’s been to many national title games, and has come up short there. He’s recruited and developed some of the best players in program history. He’s the winningest coach in program and conference history. You don’t have the kind of success hauck has had without being a great coach. We’ll be lucky if he retires at UM. There are changes I wish he’d make to the defensive scheme, but I’ll never wish for hauck to be gone……that would be foolish. I think I did at one time express concern that Hauck 2.0 was a bust, and that was 2023 after NAU. The team then made a deep run. Last year was a low point, but now look what the team is up to…..I’d say they’re doing a pretty good job. Can’t be better than 6-0

That’s

good lord, did you read the piece and listen to the whole podcast? Boosters were done with him.
Really? Did you read my first post? Good God. I said it was upset boosters, and you replied it was staying with the option. I not only read it, I lived it. What a maroon!
Why are you so upset? You can believe what you want. Frank Solich was getting fired regardless because of the offense he was running. If you think that was a bigger mistake than letting Pelini walk than we have nothing more to discuss.

i remember him saying he had to write checks to msu because he had a daughter or two going to school there, so he can't hate the place that much...

He also laughed when his daughters were off to nursing school @ MSU and told the Missoula reporter he had to have his wife hold, steady and guide his hand when writing the checks to MSU because he hates the school in Bozeman so much :

Well, yes, Fat Buffalo Turd, I knew you would finally see the light after Bobby led his/our GRIZ to a victory over your Bison 🦬 in the semi's just two years ago in 2023, the last time we played !!! You're kinda slow but better late than never, I guess !!!

They would be significantly larger checks, but Carroll also has a nursing program. Just sayin'.

You guys act like everyone wins at Indiana. You guys are wild.
Everyone does win at Indiana......just not in football. But it's not the first time someone has won at Indiana in football. Bill Mallory brought Indiana football out of obscurity and to relevance back in the late 80s early 90s. Bill is the father of the current Indiana State football HC, Curt Mallory.

AD Pederson letting Bo Pelini walk was the biggest mistake made.

Has Bobby taking this program as far as he can? I have been thinking about this ever since the firing of James Franklin. Bobby has been a very successful coach here at Montana and probably one of the best in FCS history. However, it doesn't feel like we are gaining any momentum to win National Championships. He is going to give us 8-10 wins every year, and every 5 years maybe get to 12 or 13. I am generally curious what others think about how far Bobby can take this football program. He has had 14 years at the helm with 0 National titles and only 1 conference championship since returning. In my opinion Bobby is a very good coach, but not elite. I am sure I will get flamed for this take. I think people are scared of what it looks like without Bobby, but there are a ton of young minds that could take this thing to the next level. Look how young coordinators are getting in major programs and the NFL. Just my opinion.
You think there are a ton of young coaches that can do what Bobby Hauck is doing??!!??? Not only that you think there are tons of young coaches that can take it to “the next level!!!???” Are you insane.

Let’s hear some names. I want you to list all these great young coaches.

Not happening.

Another one. I’m sorry your feelings are so easily hurt.

Bro, nobody's feelings are hurt. You asked a question and people are trying to engage. People on here are so weird about that. "I want to discuss this.... Wow, hurt feelings, I won't engage."

YOU made the claim that there are "are a ton of young minds that could take this thing to the next level."

Please name them, and why they would come to Montana.

Man, look around the the landscape of college and the NFL with how many young coaches under 40 have been successful. The game is evolving so much. Colt Anderson would be a name I would bring up. I would also bring up a name like Kyle Sampson who has done very well at Tech and has ties throughout the country being related to the Petrinos.

most posters just wanted to challenge a few point instead of having a conversation about the trajectory of the program. It seems like it really triggers some by the tone of posts.

I am good. It’s crazy how this question is off limits for some reason
