Bobby as DC Makes Zero Sense

The Big10 might be the best conference in the country.
Undoubtedly true, but the only teams they play that are in the top half of the conference are Oregon and OSU. They miss Indiana, USC, Michigan, Iowa, Washington, and Minnesota, so unless those lower teams have massive turnarounds this offseason, it's not the worst schedule to introduce a new defense against.

Lol. In just the last three years: Beat NDSU, beat SDSU, beat MSU, went to an NC game, only lost last year to the NC, but yeah...he's demonstrated the "inability to install a defense that could compete with FCS's best programs".
You boomer Hauck stans are truly something else….

Is the 3-3-5 and it’s inability to win big games against anyone with a semblance of a running game not one of the most universally criticized aspects of Hauck’s most recent tenure here?

Hey, I'm not a fan of the 3-3-5, but that doesn't make your initial statement any less true.

Ha! That’s a good one!
Whose 3-3-5 do you think it was, then? Or are you saying Bobby wasn't even in the room? Baer wasn't some big 3-3-5 guy before joining Bobby, right? Bradford wasn't a 3-3-5 guy before he took the job at Montana. Tim Hauck. Roger Cooper. None of the DCs Bobby brought in were the architect of his defense. Bobby was, from the start. It had some great years and some less great years, sure, but Hauck was at the helm.

Fellas, I don't care how Bobby wants to cook his ribs. Seriously, I don't. I couldn't care less about it. At all. Honestly. Super cereal. BUT, as we all know, he cooks them on direct gas heat at 400F. It doesn't work. It makes them gross and chewy. They can't stand up to top competition ribs. I've hated his method for years.

I recently heard that the Smokers of Northern Arkansas ("SNARK"), that I also don't care about, has asked him, of all people, to be the special guest pitmaster at their Baby-Backs-n-Buttplugs Bonanza. What are they thinking?! It's going to be a disaster. I am so glad I'm not affiliated with SNARK, don't have to attend the BBnBB, don't have to eat the ribs, and won't be affected in any way. I just think it's stupid for SNARK to have Bobby do this because I think he's so bad at it. Like I said, I don't care at all. For realz. But I can't sit idly by and watch SNARK make this huge mistake.

True enough. And while I think I’ve made it clear how I feel about the 3-3-5, I think it’s been shown to be effective IF you have the right people which Hauck is more likely to get at Illinois

The one of the shoes dropped, like I said last week. Another pair drops this week?
