Bob Stitt new OC at UNC?

So things must not be going well for Bob @ OKS.

I thought he was supposed to be paying his dues & was getting kicked up/downstairs as an offensive assistant there next season? An assistants position there is going to pay a hell of a lot better than OC in Greeley playing out the string for a lame duck coach. Collins goes 2 for the season until they’re done paying him I’d guess, because there is no other reason to keep him.

Family wants to move back to Colorado. Happy wife, happy life.

By a mile. From Greeley in 90 minutes you can be in Estes Park. From Stillwater in 90 minutes you’re still in.....Oklahoma.
It takes that 90 minutes from Greeley to lose the feed lot odor.

There are no feedlots in Greeley. It’s illegal to keep livestock...true story.

Then what is that horrible smell...
Of course the feedlots are not within the city limits, but they are plenty close enough to provide their ambience.

"Ambience" ... I like that.

Luckily, here in Idaho Falls we only get that ambience if the wind is right (wrong).

No, he’s not officially a coach at OSU. He’s making about $50,000 there, but our current OC makes about $65,000 (base, without incentives like camps, etc).

Where did he state that he was a coach at OSU.

I remember a former UNC coach saying that "It really doesn't smell that bad"

Have you ever been to Stillwater?  Makes Greeley look like a paradise.

Stillwater over Greeley but Colorado over Oklahoma

I am here for Geographic arguments. All day.

Ya all forget Missoula with Waldorf-Hoerner paper plant at Frenchtown in the 60s. Come out in the mornings and black soot covering your car. Now, it's temp inversions in winter & wildfire smoke in the summers. Yeah, Greeley so much worse than Missoula, air-wise. :?

You clearly need to remember the smells from around the intersection of Walmart on North Reserve.... there has been some putrid smells come from that area.

You all may be referring to the fine fragrances wafting to your nares from ye olde rendering plant. Though now I think they store them at a site there somewhere to be carted to a rendering plant in Spokey.

Even worse then the smell was how god awful the vat looked. Anyone remember when the truck load of pig guts spilled on reserve st lol. ok back to the regular scheduled program.

I had thought the UNC head coach would be fired, and Stitt would take over and bring Jensen with him. If this is true, UNC would be a sure thing for Jensen under an offense he knows. I think Jensen will have better opportunities, in terms of better schools. Going with Stitt may be best opportunity, tho.
Because he would not have to compete.

just like sneed and eastwood?

You realize Eastwood started because Calhoun was suspended to start the season?

according to who? and does that count the 4th game, etc?

I will say Greeley was not a bad place. Surprisingly enough you only got the feed lot smell about a handful of times a month. Never been to Oklahoma but if it’s like Kansas and just flat like an ironing board, no thanks
