Bleskin Stats

PlayerRep said:
He had some other bad throws and bad decisions, which could have been intercepted. The kid was credible, and I'm not dissing him, but his interceptions were not a good sign for the future. He appears to have only mediocre mobility. His brother is a very good receiver.

Have to remember though this was only his 2nd start, and the first start against a D1 team. Look at JJ's 4th start. 9-19, 148yds, 1td, 3int. That's a QB rating of 98.59. He turned out alright :) Bleskin may as well, or maybe he wont. Too early to tell.

Like I said earlier he was counted on to be the entire cats offense since their running game was beyond pathetic. Yeah, his stats are not good, but have to cut him some slack, he had absolutely no help offensively out there and the defense sure didn't help keep the score down either.

The game against UND will tell us a lot about his (and the cats) ability to bounce back after a bad loss. If they get into another high scoring shootout, they are likely in trouble.

Cats lose next week and it is going to get ugly in in Bozo. You may see many of their fans folding apparel and placing it back in the cedar chest with moth balls. Time to start laying low again.

Absolutely spot on. It's amazing how many fans become casual observers when the losses pile up. You should see it in my neck of the woods with USC fans right now. Many people who flew the flag the last few years are now amazingly and conveniently "not that big of a fan."

Bleskin >>>>>>> Griz backup QB's

Take it for what it is......

Maybe, but is now a starting qb, and not nearly as good as JJ or McGhee.

we can nitpick all we want, but with the info about DM's situation right now, Bleskin is a backup filling in for the starter. I never said Bleskin is on par with JJ or DM, but what I did say was Bleskin is a better option at QB than any of the Griz backups.

You have seen only one of the backups play extensively this season. TM has had a year to mature, and Brady G. you haven't seen enough of to make an educated guess as to how he will turn out, much less an educated opinion. Go back to you board where you can talk all you want about your porous defense and s***ty OL. Good day

This is my board, UM grad and Griz season ticket holder. Griz backups are poor right now. SSH is well SSH, TM will not do well in this offense, his lack of passing ability was and is the reason he will never see the field. Gus has a chance, but he has a way to go. If you can really argue that Bleskin is not a better QB right now than what UM can bring off the bench it is just you being a homer. I also did not say Bleskin is a good QB right now, but I am saying that UM better hope that JJ does not get hurt, because if he does, the Griz could look alot like how MSU did last night or how they looked last season.

Who's nitpicking? I have not noticed anyone say you said Bleskin is on par with JJ or DM. A bit edgy or insecure?

I compared Bleskin to Griz backup QB's and you threw this crap out....you want to nitpick as to whether Bleskin is a backup or starter. Not sure why I am even responding, you only pull your head from your ass long enough to take a breath or put your nose in the air because of your arrogance.

I just made a comment, just like you did. Didn't even disagree with your comment. Did you even attend the game to watch the qb's in person? You obviously haven't seen McKinney this year. Assume you haven't been at any practices either. You really are on edge, and a baby. As you've posted previously, you just don't like me or my posts (presumably because I've pointed out so many incorrect things in the past).

I've been saying since fall camp, since seeing the cats "little uglies", that states o-line looks hideously bad. They can't push a sack of potatoes out of the way in the run game little alone a div 1 or div 2 d-lineman. And pass blocking, forget about it! The OT from Manhattan is slow and clueless out on the edge.

I've mentioned before how one of their o-lineman (Catalano) says all the time on the news that the cat o-lineman are going to go out and get after them, and "get nasty". That the "BSC is afraid of them". Well....what a crock of sh :!: t!!!

I don't care if superman was their QB, little alone McGhee, this cat team will lose games this year because of a weak ol and weaker than usual defense, cause msu usually has a good d...not this year.

I doubt any team is as good without their #1 signal caller, think EWU would be as good without their starter? or anyone else for that matter. Like the old saying goes " Your only as good as the next guy in line. I personally would give more time to Gus in any future game if we get a nice lead. If JJ stays healthy he has the job this year and next. Shay will graduate with JJ and Mckinney will be a senior after they are gone.

I promise our "little uglies", 297 pound avg O line will look a heluva lot better against NAU than the all world griz O line did. Same goes for our defense. It's always entertaining to look back and watch all the egriz "experts" predict the demise of the CATS after we lose a game we shouldn't have. As PR would say... Maybe that's bad karma and why you got your asses handed to you at NAU.

It's also funny how most people are posting how good it is to see DM back on the field, how the Cats looked great at UND and how they'll smoke NAU, and yet you need to come back here and stir up stupid ass trash talk.

I wonder why he isn't wishing that all-world Bleskin was still the starrting qb. Poorgriz is usually a just a troll or a jerk, and doesn't know much about football either. The Cat's loss to SFA is alot worse than UM's loss to NAU. The Cats had a nice rally to clobber UND and try to get back on track, but I still think the Cats were grossly overrated at the start of the season.

They shouldn't be throwing too many stones quite yet, their run defense has been pretty bad so far and that includes Mesa and UND, that has to be a concern for their D coaches.
