Reading about the rape at MSU in the online Bozeman paper. Went to the comments and it was blamed on the Griz.

If they find a suspect, will the Dean of Students do the PC thing as the Dean at UM did, give them a heads up and a week to flee the country?(back to Saudi Arabia)

Bet that a future update will state that the rapist once walked through the UM campus or took some sort of extension course from them..maybe "Once watched a UM football game"...

Much like the national news when someone does something and the news has to include the criminal used to live in Montana......waiting for them to say "drove through Montana once".

BOZEMAN — Montana State University officials reported a rape just east of campus via their emergency alert system early Friday and police are still looking for the suspect.

The alert said a woman was raped in an area of South Third and Garfield at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

Bozeman police say the woman reported an unidentified man caught up with her as she was walking toward her residence, pulled her to the ground and assaulted her. The man fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 18 and 20, with shaggy curly brown hair. He was about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, was wearing glasses, a dark hoody and dark blue MSU sweat pants.

i don't think that person was blaming the griz, but rather giving the griz the credit. everyone adores the griz so much that they want to be rapists, too.

The cops arrested and charged a young man who was later proven innocent/acquitted. Our esteemed county attorney in his great wisdom kept this young man in jail for over 580 days in spite of exculpatory evidence (dna from three other men in her sheets and clothing) and zero evidence connecting the arrestee to the crime (if in fact there ever really was a crime).

Yes, UM has a text alert system as well. Has for several years. The reason the alert went our right away is because of the lessons the entire State University System has learned because of the unfortunate circumstances at UM. It is along the same lines of the email UM sent out for the last situation. The Clery Act (I think, or another similar act) requires prompt warning/notice to students of a potential threat. The University system as a whole did not understand exactly what that meant, but at the Regents meeting, I believe right around the first of the year, each campus participated in a system wide review and discussed new guidelines for these events.

he was noticeably absent starting about mid afternoon on Nov 19 of last year for a few weeks. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Other than that, yes he hangs out here all day every day.
