If he can do it in the Thunderdome he will have earned it! Winning on the road in a hostile environment like the BISON did in Missoula in 2003 is truly an example of playmaking! ;)

Hmmmm...and that year, a favored Montana team had a new head coach. What a co-inky-dink..... 8-)
NDSU had a new head coach that year as well and it was the beginning of our D-1 transition and we won on the road with only 36 scholarships to your 63, you must have had some dead weight or poor recruiting. You may win but IMO that would not be the way to bet assuming no points on an even up bet. :)

Don't know what lists poor ol' Shep is looking at. Pretty easy to find Missoula on both of these livability lists.
Montana U 2013 enrollment down 421 students to 14,525 continuing trend from 2012.

NDSU posts record enrollment in 2013 up 4.6 per cent to 14629 after previous record in 2012.

It's funny when a Cat fan poses as a Thundering Sioux Bizon fan to talk shit on a Griz board. It's HILARIOUS after last year.

There's no such thing as an "even up" bet. NDSU will be favored. Only an idiot bets without the spread.

Ya! Like the big spenders that gave 21 pts and took the Gwiz on c-note bets in 2003. Not only did they lose the game but the bet as well. In professional sports betting even up may not be the bet, but it happens all the time on individual bets. One bettor against another, one team wins one team loses, one goes home smilin' and the other goes home

All this talk about livability and college towns and shit ignores the fact that one of the places in question is in Western Montana, and the other is in Eastern North f***[*] Dakota. I think the issue can be put to bed rather easily by any rational mind.

'Zactly! That's the message I was trying to impart to our statistically adroit flatland friend.

Good, bad, or in-between at least I am proud of my entire State! If we win this fall I will not be surprised, but if we lose I will tip my hat to all of Montana!

Proud of the entire state? Will tip your hat to all of Montana?

I'm glad you have such a high opinion of Montana after its State University ducked you last year. It was an embarrassment to all of college football. I suppose if we can't agree on anything else, we can agree that Montana State should just stop playing football and wind up the school.

The reason Montana is the second best State is that all the rest are tied for First!
That should take care of the clowns from BOZO as well!

Well, why didn't you say so? Now we're all totally convinced of your bona fides as a fan of the Thunder Bizons.

If you insist on calling it a dome, it should be the ThunderDome, because of the Thunder Bisons, right? Get it? I provided that one free of charge. You're welcome!

Don't think for a second that you got this past me, Shep. If I'm branding the Alerus Center free of charge, the least you can do is credit the source.

Shep, how are we going to make 17 pages if you don't engage me? Your thoughts on C.A.T.S., go!
I used to own a lot of C.A.T.S in my retirement account when interest rates were higher. That stood for Certificates of Accrual for Treasury Securities. They were securities that were a derivative of US Treasuries that did not pay interest but were purchased at discounts to par and then would mature at par. An example would be buying something for 50 cents and be worth 1.00 dollar at maturity. Something similar in concept to how a US Savings bond operated. They were generally something packaged by brokerage firms to sell to retail investors. Interesting that you would ask! :geek:

Wild. I would bet you could get an "interesting" position with calling those with some weather futures (North Dakota, right?) and some puts. C.A.T.S. are always a part of a gentleman's naked straddle, right?

You are confusing options and futures IMO, but what do I know you are the expert! ;)

Oh, I'm no expert. I just thought a guy could get into a naked straddle with a combo of bonds, put/call options, and futures, especially with C.A.T.S. If you have a different way to graph such a structure on the XY, and/or know of a law prohibiting someone from investing this way, please post pics and/or citations. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I omitted the Oxford comma between "options" and "and" above. Sorry, guys.
