They now run their tractors by remote control so they don't miss any games! ;)

That's pretty cool. You should inform some of your Bizon brethren. One guy was swearing up and down that the weather affected the farmers around the area, and thus the FB attendance, and that is why they decided to play FB in the gym.

How exactly do they grow grass indoors? They must have installed a massive array of grow lights? I would hate to have to pay their electric bill! Seriously, do they just assemble the basketball court on top of the grass for basketball season?

Great questions. I think they overseed it like a southern golf course in the winter. If Joe Paterno can coach an Ivy League team for almost half a century, these guys must figure it out somehow. Keep in mind, we're talking about some damned good farmers here.

It sounds like you are correct on their advanced farming methods! Remote controlled tractors must be controlled by GPS satellites. I hope they aren't relying on the University of Montana State's faggy little satellite! I predict that thing will come crashing to the ground before harvest season.

They have real grass like the University of Phoenix stadium in Arizona. That way old dogs like me can still chew on grass! Our electricity is provided by wind energy so it will be net positive on energy costs in 2015. You will have to come back again in 2015 to help celebrate. With the positive cash flow and the very low carbon impact maybe we can help with your meal money for your trip. ;) P.S. That is not uncommon for people to swear up and down about the weather. We have several facilities in addition to our dome for basketball games.
Do you also play hockey in the gym? I understand you guys have a top notch hockey team.

Buddy, I've been to many domes (King, Astro, Super), and this is not a dome:

It looks like Bill Lundberg works there.
If you insist on calling it a dome, it should be the ThunderDome, because of the Thunder Bisons, right? Get it? I provided that one free of charge. You're welcome!

I didn't know the University of Phoenix even had a football team. Are they Division 1?

That is actually where we store potatoes and sugar beets. Alerus is an old Indian word for food storage facility. The pioneers called them root cellars! :D

Dude, they made the Frozen Four! Remember that Bizon fan on here bragging about it? The Hockey Frozen Four and the back-to-back NCAA FB champs. That school is going places.

Got to hand it to Old Shep, he's pretty quick on the draw! I wish one of the games this year were being played in Missoula. I'd like to buy him a beer! It would be a hoot!!

You got that right. Shep's wit and quick perceptiveness has humbled this entire board. He skinned that smokewagon before eGriz cleared leather. If you buy the beer, I'll buy the sidecar.

why is there 3 threads about this and the actual game thread?

this is just weird

Because your circle jerk Bizon Bro started two additional threads to tell us all how great a team in North Dakota is. I must have missed the third additional thread. Link?
