Today NDSU plays Ferris State. Yes, NDSU is playing a D-II team. However they are playing Ferris State as a fill in because this is the game that MSU backed out of. My buddy is tailgaiting outside the FargoDome. He sent me this pic:

Not sure i get this. Is this a dumbshit NDSU fan confusing the Montana schools or are they just looking forward to our series? I won't predict a Griz win inFargo but I think the NoDak State fans will get a good game and a lot of real Montana fans to party with. Griz have heart and we look forward to playing the top shelf team.

Did I miss something? Do you guys have a home/home deal with NDSU lined up? When does that start? That's awesome. I wish EWU would schedule a home/home with NDSU so bad.

I was tailgating right across from this guy and went to talk to him about the flag. He told me his brother lives in Missoula and is a season ticket holder for the Griz. He wasnt hassled one bit about it by anyone, because Bison fans respect Montana's program and their fans :thumb: This guy is a Bison season ticket holder. Now if he was flying a Cats kite he would not have gotten such a warm response :lol:

Yes. 2014 and 2015. I believe I read that we go to Fargo first. Will it be an automatic win? No. Will the Griz give em hell? Yes. We are Not the Pusses from Bozangles. Can't wait for it. Two of my employees are NDSU alumni and promise to point me toward the good football bars. This could take the place of the App State type friendly rivalry, if only because of our mutual loathing of MSU.

One thing you learn living in Fargo is they know they are not Montana and never will be; it is called envy.

couldn't agree more, I live in Fargo. They are the worst whiners, complainers, and unsportsmanlike fans you will ever meet. My wife, a Griz, and I had a chance to have drinks with some higher ups from NDSU. They wanted to know how they could be like the Montana schools. They loved the tailgating and fans when they went to Bozeman to watch the Cats and Bison. These higher ups are transplants so they never grew up in Fargo, therefore they are able to take the rosé colored glasses off and see NDSU fans for what they really are.

Thank you for the support and your well spoken comments.

Have long admired the tradition of the UND hockey program.

They are the Cadillac program of NCAA Hockey just like the Griz in FCS. Did not know them personally, but my wife told me of Rich Glas inspiring young kids in the poorer Grand Forks schools and had I nothing but admiration in how Dale Lennon conducted himself when North Dakota was Division 2.

Moved to Fargo in 1998 and learned like you said what (do not mention the Fargo outfit by name) fans really are. Will not bore the board with my stories of boorish behavior directed at me(simply for being a Griz fan) and my wife(Bobcat graduate; not a sports fan) by fans of this outfit.

Due to a funeral this Thursday on my wife's side may not make it if she wants me to assist spending time with her grieving relatives.

If I do not make it, say hi to DJ and George along with other Griz fans. Will see you Nov 23 for Griz/Cat gathering and introduce myself.

While walking to the game both fans vehicles tires are slashed, windows smashed, and both fans slip on the ice. Fan buffalo manure is attended to by EMTs and transported to Sanford. Fan Griz is kicked and stomped on while EMTs are blocked from rendering assistance. The perpetrators are arrested. Fan Griz after recovering at Sanford is able to give a statement.

The case is prosecuted, Fan Griz who returns to testify is mocked on the witness stand by the defense. Despite overwhelming evidence including videos, EMT, and police testimony the jury will not convict knowing their families safety can not be guaranteed. The perpetrators walk free and are greeted with applause by many who post on their board.

That in my opinion accurately depicts their culture. This should end this thread on EGRIZ. The buffalo manure is going to hit the fan over there.

That Sucks!! And doesn't sound like fun at all. Hmmm. Maybe we won't be going to this game. I'm not going there to start or be involved with any problems. That really SUCKS. I really wanted to see this game. Maybe I'll wait til they come to Missoula.

wow are you living in a dream world, if anyone seriously believes this drivel fine, but urge you to dig a little deeper, this guy is so far out of reality I'm nervous he may be the next Unabomber.

reality is if we are so terrible please explain the letters and kind words from other athletic depts to ours for the exceptional treatment of teams etc..hell just last week Ferris St had a Facebook post on NDSU athletics saying how good people were treated. Couple yrs back GEorgia Southern fans partied a whole night and never paid for anything anywhere they went.

Guys anybody with a level head can read between the lines of this. It's obviously someone with an agenda to make NDSU look bad weather he is mentally unstable or just pure jealous is beyond me. Please if your planning on coming ignore him come over to Bisonville and let guys know your coming you will have a blast.
