Today NDSU plays Ferris State. Yes, NDSU is playing a D-II team. However they are playing Ferris State as a fill in because this is the game that MSU backed out of. My buddy is tailgaiting outside the FargoDome. He sent me this pic:

Not sure i get this. Is this a dumbshit NDSU fan confusing the Montana schools or are they just looking forward to our series? I won't predict a Griz win inFargo but I think the NoDak State fans will get a good game and a lot of real Montana fans to party with. Griz have heart and we look forward to playing the top shelf team.

A while back Bisonville had a thread going that declared Bison territory Griz territory (or something like that) because of the cats wimping out of the game they promised. That's what I'm getting out of it anyways...

I was tailgating right across from this guy and went to talk to him about the flag. He told me his brother lives in Missoula and is a season ticket holder for the Griz. He wasnt hassled one bit about it by anyone, because Bison fans respect Montana's program and their fans :thumb: This guy is a Bison season ticket holder. Now if he was flying a Cats kite he would not have gotten such a warm response :lol:

Can't speak for the western half of the state, but there are quite a few Bison fans in the easter half of Montana and they are not afraid to let you know who they root for. I love it because they wear their gear everywhere and are proud as can be. I hate their colors, but respect the program and fans. Hope to hell the Bison and Griz meet very late in the playoffs. Griz need to iron out a few things before that meeting, but would be a great game.

I've been over on your forum talkin to some of the fans about places to stay, eat, & hang out and got an overwhelming response. Well, more than I expected that I'd get. Sounds like a lot of fun!

couldn't agree more, I live in Fargo. They are the worst whiners, complainers, and unsportsmanlike fans you will ever meet. My wife, a Griz, and I had a chance to have drinks with some higher ups from NDSU. They wanted to know how they could be like the Montana schools. They loved the tailgating and fans when they went to Bozeman to watch the Cats and Bison. These higher ups are transplants so they never grew up in Fargo, therefore they are able to take the rosé colored glasses off and see NDSU fans for what they really are.
