Biggest remaining game???

Adams is a good player but he will be on his ass the whole game. Griz didn't even blitz the other night and the QBs were running scared. I think NAU may be the hardest game this year.
I'll be at the NAU game, but I don't agree with you. NAU was shut out by Arizona while EWU ran up 49 on OSU; similar PAC10 opponents. We will have more success containing Baumann than we will Adams.

You scare me, because if you are right, the secondary is still not very good. I'm hoping for sacks galore. Is that Mickey on your avatar? And Merle Haggard rocks.

There's no shortage of hard games left. NAU is probably most familiar with what the Griz are doing on offense. That could be a game of two offenses focused on power run an ball control.
Probably the lowest scoring game on the schedule. Plus, Montana will be limited by a travel roster.
Cal Poly will be tough but will also be in Missoula. That's a huge advantage for the Griz.
Eastern has a great win under it's belt, but it's defense performed as poorly as Adams performed well. Adams is for real but Eastern's defense didn't put the fear of God in anybody Saturday. If Ewu can't stop Montana from converting on 3rd down, it's going to be a long day drinking Gatorade for Adams.
MSU won't get to show us much for a few weeks. It has another doozy cupcake game and it has to play SMU in the Texas heat. Dallas is supposed to be 97 next Saturday with 47 percent humidity. The two days before the game are hotter still. And say what you want about SMU losing to Texas Tech, they are still a much tougher opponent than Monmouth, a team that put up four times as many points on MSU as App State put up on Montana.

like that logic. so I assume you believe that of the griz don't beat that panhandle team by at least 75 they must be worse than lamar right? all things identical and all...

:o

It is true, the Cats have some depth issues on defense so there is really no need to worry about us being a team to deal with come November. We will be decimated in our 1's with injuries, our seniors will quit the remainder of the year and the 2's will not have learned anything from all the blow out wins and games they play in. You guys take that week off, no need to play the Cats as we'll simply mail it in..............

.....NOT! 8-)

I'm gonna say Cal Poly. EWU is gonna be tough but after seein the highlight reel and some if the conversations on here, we should be able to pull off a win against EWU. Cal Polys D is pretty stout when it comes to the running game and it seems like that is what the Griz are doing.
If conversations on egriz dictated how we played then our team would have a split personality, one would win every game and the other would loose every game
I got some very honest answers. I was finally able to watch the game and seen the 2 Headed Monster come to life. Cal Poly shut Flanders down last year but I think it'll be great to see how they handle 2 different styles of RBs running the ball. I really hope Counts gets a few touches. It seems like Flanders likes to run around the outside, Counts pounds it down the middle. I think it's gonna be a low scoring game. But then again I predicted a close App St/Griz game. So who knows. But I think who ever our toughest game is gonna be against it'll be against a team that can stop the running game.

Last year EWU woulda/coulda/shoulda/ beat the Huskies in Seattle and the Griz were a couple of sharts away from winning in Cheney. Will be a great game but don't give them their coronation just yet.

Right now I am still withholding judgment on UM, APP looked pretty mediocre, whether the Griz get all the credit for that or not, I don't know, I personally think it is some of both APP being not so good and UM being better than expected. We wont know much about APP because I think they have a pretty easy schedule for awhile.

UND should be a good test for the secondary, that game will tell us a lot about the Griz defense.
pancake state tells us nothing
NAU will tell us a lot about the Griz offense

App St payback, check.

UND payback is next. I got a funny feeling this group of Griz are focused on a certain game in Grand Forks.

Team is focused on UND for sure, but beating the Scats is the biggest game every year for the fans. I could live with losing any other regular season game - along as we win all the others and host some playoff games. But having to listen to my Scat friends gloat for another year is too much to take.

If it wasn't for NDSU's dominating run they'd be the consensus #1 right now
This!!
Wow!! What a huge win for NDSU. Wasn't K-State ranked 4th in the nation before this game??

Hey, FCS's former No. 2 is not favored against SMU, which is ranked 72nd in this week's Sagarin ratings. The Mustangs are a much tougher opponent than Mighty Monmouth, which is ranked 205 and put up 24 points against MSU! It isn't that MSU managed 42 points against the 205th "best" team in DI football that's telling. What's telling is that the 205th best team still put up 24 points on the Bobcat's defense.

Panhandle State shouldn't score a single touchdown against the Griz, all things being equal.

They weren't ranked at all. But they are the defending big 12 champs so still impressive

Oh. Hmmm. I thought I seen them ranked somewhere. Must have been a different conversation...

That's actually a huge sigh of relief!! I thought NDSU went in and made a mess of a very highly ranked team. It almost made me think that NDSU was so far ahead of anyone in the FCS that we might as well give them the NC Trophy and start the 2014 season

Oops. Sorry. MSU is rated at 104. Not too bad. But not as high as Montana. As it should be! Freaking NDSU is 49! We both got some work to do I guess.
