Big Sky teams in the playoffs

EWU: Wins the auto-bid, will get a week off and a seed. May get to host a Big Sky team even. Would the playoff committee send MSU back or try to set up another team from from the west that hasn't played EWU (like Poly)?

UM: Finally got our signature win tonight. 8-4 and headed into the playoffs on a nice up-swing. They'll host a game next week, if I were taking a guess I bet we get San Diego.

MSU: I believe they locked-up a bid to the post season with their win vs ISU last week. Also 8-4. Will be playing this next weekend as well. Sweet justice would be to send them to NDSU in the second round (if they get there).

ISU: With NAU crapping the bed against SUU I think Idaho State is a bubble team that may get in. They have a very good offense and boast an 8-4 record. Their issue is that 2 of those 8 wins are against division 2 schools. They may find themselves on the wrong-side of the bubble tomorrow but stand maybe the best chance.

NAU: Out. Melt-down of a final last few weeks. Bummer too. Just 8 days ago they were two wins against bottom-feeder teams away from locking up the Big Sky auto-bid and now they're done for the year.

Cal Poly: Might be a team that could sneak in, ISU could get the nod with the head-to-head but consider this, they'll have beat 3 playoff teams. UM, MSU, and San Diego. They're 7-5 but have just as many D1 wins as ISU.

I think CPSLO or ISU stand a change to get in, but I'm not so sure. Poly lost 2 of their last 3 and ISU was hamstrung by a soft schedule. Also last year the Big Sky sent quite a few teams and only 1 team posted a win. That could come back to haunt the Big Sky.
