Big Sky Commish Responds to UM/Sac Game Controversy

Nice, anyways good luck with Weber this week. I’m curious how RTD will do this week. It’s been great all October. Much out growing has been done!

The Cats had an nice win Saturday. That poor long snapper must have gotten into the Catnip. I don’t understand the vitriol and overconfidence on behalf of Cat fans. Knocking the Griz and on their fan board is really in the vein of being “little brother.” Similar to the BSC refs - do better. It makes your whole fan base look like they have an inferiority complex.

Are they knocking the Griz on BN? They don't seem to be doing that over here, except for the several blatant trolls. None of frequent Cat posters over here seem to be knocking the Griz, and one made a terrific unbiased post.

Terrible call. No doubt about it. My mind goes a step further. Why are the BSC refs so bad? Pay or are there no proving grounds for upcoming talent? Both? Is it just the BSC or other conferences. There were two really bad calls that night. I believe the same ref made both. Maybe time he sits a few games out and they evaluate his skills. Seems pretty obvious and that response was damn pathetic. Own your incompetence and do better.

A bad or missed call is one thing. But, being in great position, and not seeing a receiver's foot either in or out of bounds, is just inexcusable. Neither was a close call. I was watching on tv, say both mistakes immediately, and started screaming bad call/replay. If it was the same ref, and I think it was (both guys were black and downfield), this guy should not be reffing.

No argument here. What I also found amazing was the other ref who was on the sideline about 15-20 yards back. (Appeared he was on the sideline about the 30 yard line). He had a clear view as well. Between the two of them I would think it would have been obvious. Just a really bad call and then compounded by replay making the wrong decision.

What was I knocking? I simply explained how you haven’t outgrown the conference, inferiority complex is saying you’ve out grown a conference you can’t win.

Ima laugh my ass off late november when shitboxnation is losing their minds over this call costing them.

Ok, in the mean time I assume you’ll continue on this path of out growing the conference?

Please. You are on your rivals fan board. (Not necessarily who they consider their main rival, but whatever). You come making snide remarks and think that is not considered knocking. Sell ocean front property in the Mojave to someone else. Ain’t buying it and you know you are trolling. Again - do better and be better. Not like the Cats have dominated the BSC in the last 10 years. I just don’t go on Bobcat Nation and act like a dork talking about it.

Thanks. I'll miss our "rivalry" when we're in the MWC. Perhaps we can toss a few bucks your way every 5 or 6 years to have you come to Missoula for another 68-17 beat down similar to the one osu laid on you.

Hauck returned UM to dominance in year 2. Two top 8 finishes in a row. I think UM will be top 8 or better this year. No one except NDSU and maybe App St has dominated FCS for decades. Being consistently top 8 is RTD, in my view. Especially, when the finishes the prior year or two were in the 30's.

Do you think the Cats are dominant? They haven't won a national championship since 1984. They got clobbered by NDSU last year. They got clobbered by the Griz last year.

Why are you picking at the Griz over Hauck bringing Hauck from over 30 to top 8, and beating the Cats badly last year?

I'll bet you $250 right now, that the Griz will beat the Cats this year. Put up or shut up.

OR 29-10 like the Brawl last year, but hey why don’t you go on Bobcat Nation and post a bunch of smack talk about that win? Oh, because you don’t have an inferiority complex. Read between the lines Catsoncrack

Ha, you’re salivating over Cat/gris rn. I won’t accept any other answer. I can’t wait.

Oh I’m totally trolling, please show us some more RTD this weekend! The league can’t get enough of it. Thanks to your fan hype, you start the year so highly ranked and hand out free top 25 spots when you lose! It’s great for Idaho and the rest of us!

I sincerely appreciate you continuing to bump this thread. You're about as sharp as a marble, but you're fairly useful to have around.

Okay, now that it's past the bedtime for 47 year olds living in their mom's basement, perhaps we can get back to discussing how fvcking ridiculous the leadership of the bsc is.

Just a marble rolling like the MSU win streak. Anything else?

Having now seen the calls that you all are melting down over, I would say that the officiating crew got it as right as they possibly could. There is no way that officials see everything that goes on in a game with 22 players on the field. That is one of the reasons for having the replay booth for some calls. Even with the replay booth it is sometimes not 100%. That is why, by rule, the call on the field stands when there is not clear proof that the call on the field was incorrect. UM did not lose by some officials call. they lost by not stopping Sac when they needed to and by not scoring when they needed to.

Seems like UM fans have had it their way for so long that they totally melt down when the ball doesn't bounce their way. Take a deep breath, exhale slowly, and then think about it a bit.

Their win streak of...zero?

And thanks again!! More views on this the quicker we're outta this fvucking conference. :thumb:

Buuuuut... there was clear proof. That's the entire point.

Clear enough for only UM to see :)

Interesting opinion.

I'm not sure our commish knows the definition of a "judgement call"

Pass interference, holding, etc are judgement calls. In/out-of bounds, touchdowns, etc aren't subjective and open to interpretation.

This guy just clowned himself.

The correct call on the sideline late in the game was clear in real time, as well as on every replay.

What other calls have you seen that Griz fans are melting down over?

Did you like the late hit and targeting on our QB, which sent him out of the game.

The Griz are going to crush Weber this weekend.
