I'm actually surprised this made it to eGriz. There have been some in the past where it was a Montana kid (current or former athlete) which didn't even get mentioned on eGriz.
Of course when it's someone from out of state, it's multiple pages of people yelling "WHY DO WE RECRUIT THESE THUGS?!" and shit like that, the Missoulian goes nuts with it, and it's the talk of the town for months...
When a Montana kid gets in trouble for something minor and people actually hear about it, it's just boys being boys.... they are good kids, just made a silly mistake.
When it's a kid from out of state they are obviously a gang banging thug with no redeeming qualities that we never should have recruited... :roll:
Minor stuff like disorderly conduct isn't really newsworthy regardless of who did it...

(c) using threatening, profane, or abusive language;
(d) discharging firearms, except at a shooting range during established hours of operation;
(e) rendering vehicular or pedestrian traffic impassable;
(f) rendering the free ingress or egress to public or private places impassable;
(g) disturbing or disrupting any lawful assembly or public meeting;
(h) transmitting a false report or warning of a fire or other catastrophe in such a place that its occurrence would endanger human life;
(i) creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition by any act that serves no legitimate purpose; or
(j) transmitting a false report or warning of an impending explosion in such a place that its occurrence would endanger human life.

Some of those which qualify for disorderly conduct really aren't "high crimes"....
