Think there are any Big Sky teams that are in the top 100 for fewest fouls? Nope. How many Big Sky teams are in the bottom 100? 8 out of 12 are in the bottom 100 for fouls per game with 9 out of 12 teams being in the bottom half of D1 basketball.

It would be interesting if those stats were broken down by conference so we could see which conference has the most whistle happy refs on average. I'm guessing the Big Sky would be one of the worst. And yes I understand that many of the refs also ref in other conferences not just the Big Sky. Do you think they call the game differently when they're reffing a game in the Pac12 or MW? I didn't look up MW or Pac-12 teams on those rankings.
