Beat the Griz

Is that why they chose that yellow color?

I think so. They have tried to distance themselves from the official school colors of Royal and Yellow, but nobody really knows why. The piss color on their helmets now just looks like the piss of someone who is severely dehydrated and should probably go to the hospital. I'm not really sure what color cat piss is, so maybe they are going more authentic.

It still does not explain the M on the helmets. Nobody has a clue what it stands for. When they debuted this look about 15 years ago, I initially thought the M was for Montana. Then, I realized that it was State College, not the University of Montana. Because no State College in the entire nation is fucking dumb enough to put only the initial of the state on its helmets, the mystery remains. Is it a reference to an alum? Does it stand for meth? Murder? What's really going on here? Has Harry already lost control of that locker room?

I believe it is intended to stand for Mediocrity and if so then GET OFF THEIR BACKS. They damn well earned the right to wear it.

vim and vigor
Ebullient vitality and energy, as in He was full of vim and vigor after that swim. This redundant expression uses both vim and vigor in the sense of “energy” or “strength.”

Vim on, Vim! :thumb:

I don't give a squirt of vim about the cats. They are a vim-poor program. But it did vim me off to see that comedy genius Ron go. Some of the stuff he said made me vim my pants. OTOH, his eyes look like two vim holes in the snow , so maybe he had it coming. He's not going to have a pot to vim in, nor a window to throw it outta.

 It sure was fun seeing how vimmed the Cat fans got when people made fun of Ron Ash. We have some good days ahead, however. I think Ursa put it best when we got the news that the Cats hired a coach named Hal Choate: "Thank you, Jesus!" CoachOat was definitely my first choice for that job!

We have gone from VimSince03--->3and9Since03--->PissSince03--->Piss is now a pseudonym for vim. CDA can do better guys. I know it.

Vim on, Vim! :thumb:

Common mistake. It's actually "vim and vinegar." As in, Angry Fan was full of vim and vinegar after the Cats lost to the Griz again.

No, piss. No. Not a pseudonym, a synonym. I'm shocked more people don't know this.

Said fan was so full of of vim and vinegar, went down to local bar, had one to many, later vimmed himself in back alley.

He's got it! :thumb:

"vim-sanity"
...a mental condition typically associated with cat fans after losing the brawl.
...being so pissed off that you go insane.
[can someone please post that TV-pic of the cat fan going vimsane?]

Cat cheerleaders be like:
"we got vim, yes we do
we got vim, how 'bout you?"

Griz fans be like:
"We wish we had some vim in us but it's impossible to find beer to buy at your stupid tailgate"

No, its actually both as in piss and vinegar . . . OR vim and vinegar. Vim and vigor is also common, vigor thought to be a more upscale word than vinegar. (I might or might not have made that "upscale" thing up). However no evidence of any common use of the phrase: piss and vigor anywhere.

BTW -[full of] piss and vinegar is said to mean hot to trot among other things. Would that be . . . hot to trot up that trail of tears?

Could be. At least we all agree that vim and piss can be used interchangeably. Ol' Eyeballz is still striking!
