Kicked off out of bounds and the Griz got good field position and completed a long pass and a couple of plays later scored and won he game In Bozeman. The Griz had an excellent team that year and won that game in the final seconds. The point is in a rivalry, records go out the window.

Yep, so UM went 8-4 that year losing in the first round to McNeese (hardly UM's best year), and MSU went 6-5 (no playoffs, but hardly their worst).
