If the administration wants to pack the stadium,then they need a more exciting team that can win games, and have the student body support that is so sorely needed. The students need to stop compalining about not having their seats & pack the ones they do have & hope that they can get their old seats back.
I attended Uof M from 71-75 & the games were always packed because the games were exciting and the students supported the team. It appears what has happened is that Hogan & dennison decided they wanted people with big bucks to donate for a new stadium with a promise they would get the best seats in the house. What they did was scre over not only the students, but the long term hard core Griz BB fans who have been attending for up to 20 Years. Now they won't step foot on campus again because they lost their seats. Apparently they figured the monied people would attend the games like the hard core fans, which hasn't proven to be the case.
If Hogan hires Kennedy,it will be a major mistake based on from what I have read on the various chat lines. It sounds like Kennedy would destroy the program in a hurry & maybe affect all of the Grizzly Athletics.Its just what the Bobcat fans would love to see. Hope Hogan has the brains to hire a quality person with integrity that will bring excitement back to Griz Basketball.
