Ash is not a happy man!

At the time we got beat by Sac State, it sure did not look like we had those things. Granted, they cannot do anything about losing their QB, but give reason for everyone else to step up. MSU has proven in the last several years to be a very good to great FCS level program. Ash is a damn good coach. Sorry, I just can't buy into this one loss being the end all to their season.

Granted, if they lose to UND then I will be a lot more worried about things in BOZO. From what I seen of their SMU and SFA games, they need to find some toughness and a mean ass streak. They appear to be more of finesse, pretty team than a physical team. The Cats need a serious dose of "Attitude". That attitude starts with the OL and defense. They need to go into UND to knock the living hell out of everyone on the UND offense. They need to have big hit after big hit. Their O Line needs to have the coaching staff run straight ahead power running plays.

Penalty or clean, they need to show UND they are there to fight!!!

Bottom line: As of now, UM and MSU have have exactly the same BSC record. (Oh, wait ... ) Even if they lose to UND, it will not affect their conference standing (non-conference for them too, right? Or am I wrong on that?).
I think that theirs is a conference matchup this year

msu is attempting to catch up with big brother. Rape is running out of control on campus and in bozo.

msu defense is porus.

Ash is cooking up cold food with cool ashes.

2----2 record msu is back in the pack.

Over rated ......they really need to be in the top 25.

Perhaps Ash should continue to be a clean liver ....... Stick with cool aid!

Okay ... hadn't heard one way or another. (But strange.)

Isn't UND their other conference match that they play every year? I thought it was UM and UND.

This is correct.
MSU is paired with North Dakota & Montana always on their conference schedule.
Montana is paired with MSU & E. Washington always on their conference schedule.
FWIW, besides the bobcats, No Dakota is also paired with No Colorado.

As to IdaGriz, I believe every Big Sky match up from this next weekend forward will be a "conference" game while each one played to date is considered non-conference.
:ugeek:

Ours was not a conference game because this game was scheduled before they became part of the BigSky, I think that was mentioned on the radio, not sure why that should make a diff? What sucks is we play them again next year at their house for the third time in a row.

WOW, it is one damn game!!! I recall a few years ago, the GRIZ got humiliated by Sac State. It took a butt kicking like that for the GRIZ to turnaround the season. After that game, we seen a team committed to winning. Who is to say the Cats won't use this loss for motivation that can serve them well? Only their team can determine what this game will do for them. I sure hope for the sake of the team, they have better attitudes than fans do.

Their season is far from lost. It is ONE damn game!! Get over it and move on. Ash's job is perfectly safe. Their future is not shot. They still have a bright future. As for Ash, he, every player, and coach should be pissed. I would not expect anything less than that from a team. They got humiliated by a middle of the pack FCS team, just as the GRIZ did a few yeas ago against Sac State. This loss could be just the ass kicking the Cats needed. Hell I don't know. We shall see though. For the sake of the everyone, I hope to see the Cats get everything righted. I love it when both the GRIZ and Cats are fighting for the conference championship come our game.

Cat fans, step back off the ledge. GRIZ fans, as hard as it might be, stop trying to push them over the ledge. Let's all see how they rebound next week, then make a little better judgment of how good or bad it is in BOZO. I do hope they get healthy, and find their game again.
I agree. I actually feel the MSU QB played well at times, but made mistakes when the OL broke down. Expected for most young QBs. He does seem to have limited vision of the field, but IMO, he would look pretty good with our OL, better than SHH anyway. I also agree with others, that the humidity probably did them in. I expect state to bounce back. Hopefully we meet in the end with the BSC on the line. Personally I will be pulling for them until that game.

Now if we can just get our fan base to be as classy as our coach....or maybe I should say the egriz fanbase. Of course a large percentage of egriz represents our worse fans anyway.
