Found the following to be particularly intriguing:
"We'll have a few more (seats)," said Maes, who is in charge of event and facilities management. "We're going to kind of upgrade what we do on the south side a little by bringing in some different bleachers for the whole year.

This kind of seems like cheating when it comes to attendance. Anybody have any idea if other teams do this?

So that includes media and those with sideline passes as well as stadium workers, a supplemental total of anywhere from 700 to 800, Maes said.

If they don't then they have been doing it wrong. They do only count butts in the seats for the playoffs .

Exactly.

Crazy. UM can expand WaGriz to try its best to accommodate a big game, whereas EWU declines to throw up some bleachers literally anywhere around the track in Washington's Grizzly Stadium to do the same for their Super Bowl against the Griz every other year in Cheney.

The vast majority do.

I think that is correct. When, in 2010, MSU got approval (from the same BOR that also inexplicably governs UM) to add another stadium in the southeast endzone of Reno H. Sales Stadium, they rolled that modular semicircle up just far enough to make it look like part of RHS stadium to the Cat fan with a double-digit IQ.

"Matching video panels will cover 270 feet along the east plaza when the schedule opens against NDSU."

hmmm...didn't know that.

I was kind of thinking they were going to add LCD panels across the width of the east plaza after they put the ones on the NEZ wings.

Wa-Griz holds 25,217. Somewhere in the mid-19,000s are designated as potential season ticket seats, though Fisher doesn't expect quite that many to sell when new packages become available in two weeks. But after a block of 4,000 is set aside for students and nearly another thousand go to the visitors, as few as 2,000 single-game seats could be up for grabs.

And since Grizzly Scholarship Association donors get first dibs on whatever's left, the remainder is more likely measured in hundreds than thousands.
