You want to see a sleek and smooth athlete with the entire skill set here he is. This young man will help power the mighty Wolverines of Bellevue again this season. We love the kids heart, attitude and overall package! Any college would be lucky to have the Student and the Athlete Ari Morales!

Washington Preps Interview, while working out for Portland State:

The kid had some talent as a frosh. Here is a link to his highlights that year.

After listening to the second & third song on the video and watching the highlights I would like to see the kid's birth mark. A whole new SCARY good.

P.S. I hope he's not bringing that creepy nanny with him to MSLA.

After watching the Northwest Stars video above, these comments (from the article above) really come to life:

“They want me for running back. Coach said they would use me how Oregon uses De’Anthony Thomas. He told me that they really love me as a player and he wants me in his back field.”

He could totally be the De'Anthony Thomas of the Griz.

That makes it sound like the staff will not be implementing the drop back pro-style offense any time soon.

Its also highly unlikely the current coaching staff wont be around after this year, so its almost impossible to say how he'll be used or what the offense will look like.

He seems like a good kid, though. Hope he fully recovers from his injury.

Not trying to be Debbie Downer on this kid, but all I see in his videos from his junior year is a very fast kid, who does not seem to have great moves (like Nguyen has), and who does not seem to break tackles. I do not see him as a starting RB for the Griz, maybe a slot receiver or such. No doubt about his speed.

He's a solid talent for a walk on. If he doesnt end up getting on the field for the offense, he'll make a hell of a special teams cover guy.

Speed? He runs the 40 4.55-4.59. He also had a terrible knee injury. This kids career may already be over.

I don't understand why everyone is always so negative about everything, this kid is a gamer and has a lot of talent...... He wants to be a Griz, I have come to the realization we could get the number one recruit in the nation and half of u would find something to bitch about. I can't wait to see this kid hit the field..... Welcome to Griz nation Ari !!!!!!

That's actually pretty fast and who knows what he actuall runs... Doesn't matter anyways, I'm more interested in explosiveness and agility and this kid appears to have it. I like that he can change directions without losing much speed and gets to his top gear quicly. Knee injuries can be overcome if you put the work in, especially if you're 18. I'm sure a guy like you could tackle him though... just as easy as it is to takle Dan Moore, right?

Not everyone is negative, AK. It's just those who are tend to dominate the board.

But I agree completely with you. If he can stay healthy, Ari will be a great Grizzly. As I said earlier, if you can play for Bellevue, you can play.

Welcome to GRIZNATION Ari.

If all these RB's play as well as we hype them, damn we are loaded at RB. If he redshirts, he could recover better. If he does not redshirt, that will be a good sign, would love to see him returning kicks for the GRIZ and see him in the slot.

It's highly likely we have the same coaching staff next year as we do this year. Odds are higher I would say in favor of the same than not!

He made the varsity squad at Bellevue as a FRESHMAN. He started since his SOPHMORE year! This is for a team that won state for 5 CONSECUTIVE YEARS his senior year! A Washington state record. Bellevue is a national powerhouse. He was a major impact player. He is going to abuse linebackers out of the backfield (receptions) and become an All BSC player...

With all due respect can we drop this notion of "drop back" Pro offense. Hell, the OCs of the best teams in the NFL dont run a traditional pro offense anymore. You are showing your age my friend. Let it go!
