are you daft? so because i'm missing 5 minutes or less of the 3rd quarter, somehow in your eyes, im "obviously not a fan of the grizzlies?" i'm a fan of the entire thing. i pay for my tickets (no....not "hundreds" of dollars, either), so i can enjoy whatever the hell component of the game experience i want. it has zero effect on you.
Or maybe not everyone sees attending a Griz as some kind of test of loyalty. Maybe its just a football game that they see as a form of entertainment or just about any other couple of dozens of reasons that they might attend. Being incredibly loyal and focused is a wonderful thing but not everyone is going to feel that way. As long as they pay to attend, why do you care why they are there? Frankly once the 3rd quarter starts I completely forget about anyone else and focus on the game. Sometime later Iook up and the stands are automagically full again and I don't have a single clue when it happened. Do yourself a favor. Forget about the stuff you can't control and be the awesome fan you are. Its a great time to be a Griz!ordigger said:smarsh said:ordigger said:Stay home and drink....you're obviously not a fan of the Grizzlies, but a fan of the party.

You're in denial....that's fine. It's part of the process. It's about respect, doing the right thing, stepping up.![]()

I like this a lot.Grizzlies1982 said:Well we could just issue fines for those who leave. Structure it like a speeding ticket;
Missing first 3 minutes of 3rd Qt. $25
Missing first 5 minutes of 3rd Qt. $45
Missing first 10 minutes of 3rd... $100
Not returning to seat (ala So Dakota St playoff) $500 and loss of Griz gear.
Fines go to Grizzly Athletics so after about 3 years they'll have funds to build damn near anything they wish.
