How about free beer inside the stadium during halftime? I'm sure I'm not the only one totally on board with this idea. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Or maybe not everyone sees attending a Griz as some kind of test of loyalty. Maybe its just a football game that they see as a form of entertainment or just about any other couple of dozens of reasons that they might attend. Being incredibly loyal and focused is a wonderful thing but not everyone is going to feel that way. As long as they pay to attend, why do you care why they are there? Frankly once the 3rd quarter starts I completely forget about anyone else and focus on the game. Sometime later Iook up and the stands are automagically full again and I don't have a single clue when it happened. Do yourself a favor. Forget about the stuff you can't control and be the awesome fan you are. Its a great time to be a Griz!ordigger said:smarsh said:

So, let's take a page from Hollywood. Import 10,000 hotties from LA, and just like the seat fillers at the Oscars fill in seats when celebs go onstage or take a tinkle, they can fill our seats when we go to halftime tail gate. Seats are full all third quarter, and bars downtown are filled with hotties after the game. Somebody get a talent agency on the line.

Very much agree. I've been to 95%+ of all WGS games since it opened. Stayed in stadium for the half lots of times, went out to the tailgates more often. Try my best to get back for 2nd half kickoff but last week noticed 14:54 as I walked in the NEZ gates. By the time I got to seats might have missed another play or two.
So guess I'm obviously not a fan too.....seems kinda weird because I always thought I was and most of my friends and relatives would consider me a pretty big fan. Can only hope to someday be the fan "ordigger" is.

As I really don't give a rats ass whether the tailgaters come back at all, and never looked around to see if particular areas of WGS had more aluminum than others, are certain areas better represented in the tailgate areas than others? People in my area are generally in their seats for the second half kickoff. I remember the area between the 20s as pretty sparce.

shucks, when you put it like that, i guess you're right. hopefully before the next game i can turn my life around, step up and do the right thing and.....get to my seat 5 minutes earlier....
