Good call. Kidder did have a pretty darn good game.

Brock Coyle is the best linebacker on this team, despite all the hype for Jordan Tripp. I realize Tripp is more athletic and has a more diverse responsibility but he is often out of position and often is not a solid tackler. Coyle seems to be where he is supposed to be a vast majority of the time and is a very solid hitter. Tripp has a better shot at the pros because of his build, athleticism and slightly better speed but Coyle is the real glue of this group of linebackers.

I thought Coyle might have taken the SD QB out of the game either physically or mentally in the 1st Q. Testimony to the QB that he got it back together, but that was an awesome hit!

Hell yeah it was! WoW! Blasted him right in guts. I figured we'd see more than just one run play after that shot but he put himself back together and kept going. Guess he needed Herm on one side and Coyle on the other to get more than one run play after a hit.

Kidder blew up some run plays, knocked down a few passes, and tracked down some screen plays from the backside. I'm excited about this young man, only a Sophomore.

Kidder has been playing well all year. He has had a couple of other big games and plays, but Brock has always had an awesome game at the same time and get much of the credit.

Sorry, Kidder's batted down pass really stands out for me, particularly since he was getting blocked pretty hard as he went up. Great play
