If the game were in Fargo, you may have a shot at gameday, but not Missoula. I think Missoula would draw well and have a great gameday turnout, but tough to prove that to ESPN. On top of that the Griz probably won't open as a top 10 team, lost their best players from last years team, and will be introducing a new coach that most college fans have never heard of, tough sell to the Network...

It should be a great game and everyone in the BSC will be rooting for the Griz.

I hate to bite on this because I recognize it for what it is, a subtle backhanded put down. But everyone knows, including ESPN, that gameday in Missoula is as good as that in Fargo. I think it was awesome if Gameday came and I am sure they could fill the three hours up with more than enough drama filled pre-season FBS talk, but according to people in the NDSU circles and Lee Fitting himself, it is highly likely Gameday returns to Fargo this fall, assuming NDSU starts the year undefeated. I find it very unlikely they go to two FCS locations.

I know this is completely unrelated to the topic of the thread, but I think writing "bizon" is ridiculous, even though I do pronounce the "S" as a "Z" sound. Everyone in this area pronounces it with the Z sound, but I never saw it written with the Z until the past couple years. I don't know what has caused it, but I agree that it is stupid to write it that way.

Idk how familiar you are yith our stadium set up, but the perfect lactation would be right next to the stadium on the river. tons of space and the stadium and mountains would be right in the background, also just less than a mile from there is a giant outdoor plaza right on the river and downtown that holds outdoor concerts and what not.

FWIW.
Last year EWU pushed hard to get Gameday in Cheney for the FCS kickoff game against Sam Houston. The ultimate response / decision received was ESPN's talent (Corso, Herbstreit, etc) wouldn't even entertain the idea because their contracts don't have them start working until September 1. The game was August 28th . Rumor has it Desmond Howard was the only one who said he'd do it. The others said no way.

That would be great if y'all could get it for 2015 though . Good luck!
