Mods, it's time to seriously consider an IQ test for new registrants on this board.
Lock the board down right before the playoffs start when the Griz are in.
Problem solved.

Are you certain you're in Fargo? Are you sure you are even in North Dakota? Put the beer down, step outside and tell us what street signs and landmarks you see. It's OK, I been there a few times when I was a kid. We can send help.

In addition, we are better coached. Klieman had a shot at winning the first game, but he apparently has no concept of clock management.

We are the better team on almost every front, two groups that I feel are most at risk....and thus need to have good performances. 1) offensive line - gotta protect BG and allow our RB's to get to the second level. If this happens, IMO we run away with it. 2) Run defense - we've been good in the last 4-5 games, but this unit is a cut above the average, especially with Stick. We need to make them throw the ball on 3rd down. Our CB's are the best in the business, let them win the game outside.

Run defense -Winner winner chicken dinner. Stick will not have to do much if their run game gets going and they wear down the Griz D. The Griz will win this game if they can stop the run,

I suppose they aren't, but consider the following:

1. The Griz are the hottest team in FCS right now, i.e. have been on a roll and playing great ball for almost a month. The Griz are fairly healthy.

2. The Griz beat the Bison at the beginning of the season. Close and good game, but no fluke. The Griz know they can beat the Bison. No doubt there.

3. The Bison hotshot QB Wentz is out, and the back-up is a redshirt frosh who can run, but isn't as good of a passer. Will he be up to the task in a pressure game? I say no. We'll see.

4. The Griz receivers, especially outside, torched NDSU in the first game. They are playing very well now, have terrific hands, and know the Bison corners and secondary can't cover them. They know they are better than the Bison defenders.

5. The Griz QB starter, Brady G, who threw for about 440 yards in the first game, is now back from injury and playing very well.

6. The Bison probably aren't afraid of the Griz, with the exception of a few positions like the secondary, but the Griz are not afraid of the Bison at any position.

7. The Griz played at the dome last year, so they know it. They know it's a good venue and loud, and will give the Bison some advantage, but the Griz are looking forward to playing in a nice, loud venue. Bring it on.

8. The Bison know the Griz wore them down, especially on D, in the prior game. They know the Griz will want to do that again. The Bison know they are not equipped to defend 95 plays. We'll see if the Griz can do that again. We'll see if the Bison can sub more on D, without problems, to try to keep from getting gassed.

9. The Bison know the Griz have 2 new starting inside receivers, or should know that, but do they really know how good and effective the new starters are? And the former starters are ready to go too.

10. The Bison know Holmes is very good, but do they realize how good he will be on Saturday?

11. The Bison will pound the ball, both to move the ball and to keep the Griz O off the field. This will be a huge challenge for the Griz. I assume the Griz coaches will have made whatever adjustments they can, and the Griz D will be ready for the challenge. This will be a critical part of the game, along with turnovers.

12. The Bison are very good, and they are at home, but they don't have their all-star QB. I think the Griz are ready for the task.

13. It should be a terrific and fun game. I like the Bison, their coaches, their fans, and their program. This is what football and sport are all about. If the Bison win, I will root for them to win the championship again.

Go Griz! Go seniors!. Go team! You are champions in my book, win or lose.

13 reasons?!? Geez, hope nobody in Griz Nation is superstitious. If the griz lose, this one is all on you PR!

This sure seems like a dumb title for a thread. Not that NDSU needs it, but it sure provides more bulletin board material to fire up NDSU players.

Does it make sense for the 4 time National Champs to be "shaking in their boots" playing against a 7-4 team that upset them early in the season via a TD with 2 seconds left, and also being fortunate enough to make many 4th down plays for a 1st down.

Don't get me wrong, I want the Griz to win, but firing up the opponent even more than they already are, does not seem like a wise thing to do if you want to win the game.

It sure is a strange strategery if you want to win the game.

I subscribe to the Teddy Roosevelt strategery of "speak softly and then kick their asses."

Sure seems like a dumb comment, even for someone who apparently doesn't have much understanding of humor.

The original post was supposed to be humorous?
