Yesterday around 3PM had to run to Menards to replace smoke detector. While the the FCS game in Texas was ending (I had no idea game was on, too many IPADS and overhead speakers were on so you could not help but notice). As game wound down people were glum; I was not paying attention to game. I picked up new detector and saw people in Green Bay Packer color gear go wild and start harassassing a woman in UND gear saying "Sioux suck". I intervened wearing blue jacket with Seahawk polo shirt and told woman to walk away and not lower herself to their level. Then turned and said "pretty easy to look good when you don't have to follow NCAA regulations". Then said "any of you dirt bags that cheer for that scumbag program on North side of Fargo can talk to me; leave her alone". Then stood there with my "Chuck Knox" glare, the 8 bastards were not so brave any more.
The woman and I walked away, I told her to keep her head up and not address any of those punks, she was scared. Clerk came over to see what disturbance was all about, just told him "dirt bags cheering for some school on North side of Fargo were harassing this woman"; the problem had been handled. Woman walked away, never saw her again. Did not hear one more word from those punks, went and paid for smoke detector and left store.

Pat O'Day appeared out of nowhere and attempted to block our passage. I stiff-armed Pat into the hydro-pool and out the window we went. An hour later we were downing boilermakers in downtown Seattle.
