Appalachian State still a night game possibility

4 P.M......what a joke, might as well kick off at the normal 1:05 since we're so worried about accommodating App's travel schedule

Well with the 2 hour time difference they are essentially getting the same travel schedule the Griz did last year? :?
 
I can see how they are concerned about returning home to Boone late, especially since they lose two hours compared to us gaining two hours when we returned to MT, but c'mon... It's only a few hours and you have the rest of the Sunday to relax.

Not so sure it's us worrying; would bet it's up to TV and what is written in the home and home contract. That said, 4 PM MDT would be tit for tat relative to last year's 6 PM EDT starting time.
 
Folks, the game is scheduled for 31 August, it doesn't get dark until 2130 or so. A true night game with App State will not happen. Albeit would be nice. 2000 or 2030 kickoff would be the only way to ensure a night game. Maybe by using the power of Brint W. and his uncanny ability to persuade people, he can get App State to commit to staying over in Missoula until Sat afternoon.

Haslam favors a 7:05 kickoff and our contract with Appy puts us in control, but a TV deal could still change it.
