If a strong pass rush is the best defense against a passing team then a close second would have to be a ball control offense. The more long sustained drives the Griz cap off with score the less time App's offense will have on the field and the more fresh our db's will be.

With their hurry-up offense App is going to try to run 85+ plays on the Griz, for sure slowing them down will be a big help. Also if (which I really don't see) the Griz get up by a good margin they can't take their foot off the gas b/c their offense is meant to score quickly and often.
