I'm not going to say "fictional" just yet. I'm still at "mythical." The amount of people that must be on the payroll to perpetuate this makes me think, ever so slightly, that there might be a shred of truth involved.

I do have respect for the ones that do go out there with a holy mess of a team and get pummeled and beat to a pulp after 60 mins. I felt kinda bad for ISU last season after they got 70 points ran up on them, not once but twice. And they never gave up. I respect most all players at this level. Granted, sometimes I'll talk some shit but its nothin personal against them.

Yeah, can't believe the audacity of MSU posting that they has 11 winning seasons in the game day notes about 10 lines down. Ridiculous! I sure hope the Griz don't do anything like that.

By the way, great job of obsessively investigating the Cats. I think it is great to keep up the hate rather than focus on football this week.

Good post. Badlands Griz needs to be focused on App State. Ever since he went down with a knee in fall camp, he should be focused on football and getting his spot back. Say hi to the players for us, Badlands, and try to keep them focused on football.

I'm not going to say "fictional" just yet. I'm still at "mythical." The amount of people that must be on the payroll to perpetuate this makes me think, ever so slightly, that there might be a shred of truth involved.

You might be right! Given how long ago it reportedly happened, I wouldn't be surprised to hear about a death bed confession, sooner than later, that unravels this hoax.

Little bit sensitive, aren't we? Quite a response after a compliment. Where did I say one bad season defined a program? You accurately put the last one in 2009, which is now 4 years ago (which kind of is "back then"). Where did I say anything about the Cats being on top? Where did I say that the Griz are just going to slum with the bottom of the barrel? Or do you just enjoy having your panties in a wad?

Now tell me if everything has just been "normal" since 2009. 2010 was not a good season. 2011, while they had a good team and went on a heck of an impressive run, was still filled with turmoil, and 2012 was just sort of ugly. How was any of the past 3 years "normal" as compared to the 12 straight titles?
