Anywhere to watch a Griz game in Alabama

A shot in the dark here but does anyone know of a place where you can watch a griz game on Root in the Birmingham area?

You still get Pluto down here and most good sports bars have Direct down here so any decent sized sports bar would be more then happy to switch one of their tv’s to the audience channel for any root games if politely requested.

I live in Huntsville and have never been able to get Root games on Pluto. I’m planning on being in Birmingham the Saturday of the UC Davis game and want to find a sports bar that will put the game on.

You’re not gonna get root on Pluto. Pluto only shows the big Sky con games that aren’t shown on Root, who has the primary rights to show which games they wanna show that week. Those games will be hard to find in a bar but super easy on any device on Pluto.com which is free. The Root games are shown on the Audience channel down here which is owned by Direct TV which most bars use. Depending on the time of the Auburn and Alabama games the 28th, I’m sure somewhere in B-ham you can find a sports bar that will let you watch one tv in a corner somewhere for a couple hours as long as your buying beers and enjoying some good football. Maybe call around to some that thur or fri.

Ya but you only need it for 2 months from Sept 27th to Nov 23rd. The earlier games aren’t on Root.

Yep, I'll watch 2 months of repeats on Food Network and History and be out.

I’ve been to a couple Griz Cat games at the Crows Nest up there, always had a good time.
